Simply the best. There are not enough positive superlatives to describe Dr. Murphy. After you have gone to the wrong doctor you must see Joshua. Biblical name not an accident. I know God connected me with this Gentleman. You sense he operates at a level above a mere mortal. He has advanced training in many areas including revision surgery which I had. Few doctors will take that challenge of going in to clean up a mess before they can begin to do it properly.

Dr. Murphy is great!! He revised my knee replacement (done somewhere else - I had severe swelling and pain and all original surgeon said “X-ray looks fine”. He has since replaced one hip and will replace my other one in a couple months. I have seen many orthopedic surgeons in my life (multiple breaks and 20 orthopedic surgeries) and he is the best, by far!! Not only is he highly skilled, he is also personable, listens to you, and explains things clearly. I’ve already recommended him to others!

Ruptured patellar tendon, Infected knee replacement. Incredible doctor! Follows thru and is always on top. Treated me for a year, never have I been more satisfied!

Dr Murphy was extremely dismissive of my pain. I went to the ER before seeing him because the pain was level 10, and he said I was “too sensitive “ and that I should have taken aspirin! Obviously I had tried OTC remedies, and I don’t take going to an ER lightly.

Dr Murphy was very kind and professional. I was able to make an appointment within less than 24 hours! Dr. Murphy was very easy to talk to and he listened. He was able to assess my chronic and acute situation and able to address the source of my problem. I had treatment that day in his office and was referred to a great physical therapy practice. I am very grateful to have Dr Murphy as my Ortho physician.

Dr. Joshua Murphy did emergency hip replacement surgery for my wife after she suffered a fall last year. We found him to be an excellent surgeon who is very caring, knowledgeable and professional. Due to my wife’s positive experience and swift recovery, I went to Dr. Murphy in December for a knee replacement. With Dr. Murphy’s post surgery care and the expertise of my physical therapists I am feeling great! I highly recommend Dr. Murphy and his staff to anyone seeking quality orthopedic care.

Because of my original hesitance, he allowed me time to think about and prepare for the surgery. I was very pleased with Dr. Murphy's care. He is an excellent, skilled surgeon, he listens to his patients' concerns and offers sage advice. I had a hip replacement and was very pleased with the quality of care I received from him. My recovery was very smooth and very quick. I highly recommend him.

The worst experience I have had. The office staff at Ortho Cincy on Cornell Rd in Montgomery Rd were incredibly rude. Upon entering office instead of saying "good afternoon", they shouted "go to window 3" Then you go to Window 3 and then face 2 staff talking about a social outing that occurred the night prior. I literally stood there for several minutes before they even looked up to assist me. I felt as if i was a burden to them. They acted put out by having to assist me, very unwelcoming.

My visit was a very upsetting experience. Dr Murphy talked to me like a child, was unprofessional and was not concerned about my care but rather about what was better for him and his practice. He did not listen to my concerns nor did he show any compassion for what i was going through. I have never experienced such an arrogant behavior from a physician. I would not recommend nor will i return as a patient to him or his practice. Traumatic experience.

Very arrogant. He kept telling me that my knee replacement was fine despite continued pain. I have had over a year of pain and bills to be told that nothing was wrong.

Dr Murphy would be highly recommended by me! Had knee replacement and was amazed at the healing process. He is a very caring and excellent Doctor. Back to normal within four weeks.

I can not say thank you enough to Dr. Murphy! My RT knee replacement exceeded my expectations. Both my husband and I were astonished that I was walking without aid three days from having surgery. I'm a realtor so getting back on my feet was of utmost importance. I had a double Open House 10 days after having surgery! I tell everyone who did my surgery!

Dr. Murphy gave me a new knee. I had heard horror stories about how painful I would be after the surgery and while doing physical therapy. My knee was bone to bone and I could hardly walk before the surgery. I have had very little pain, and I mean VERY little, and have had no problems with my physical therapy (which is in the same building as Dr. Murphy's office). I could shout from the rooftops about how skilled and wonderful Dr. Murphy is so please, if you need a new knee. see him.
