No bedside manner whatsoever! Dad was in hospital Very first thing Dr said to us and asked right in front of dad was does he have a DNR? Then spoke down to him Didn’t explain his condition. Seemed he feels it’s wasting his time with an older patient. Cold and condescending and left us not knowing what dad’s condition was, worried, in the dark, and even more stressed.

I have witnessed Dr. Lowentritt rushing from patient to patient as quickly as possible so that he could bill for each patient. 30 seconds to a minute and a quick signature, next patient. Again and again. Stethoscope and pretending to listen, hello, all good? goodbye. That is Josh Lowentritt, and he has a God complex. He believes he is all knowing and so great, but the fact of the matter is he has lost his way and provides poor patient care. He needs to humble himself and stop focusing on ways to cheat the system to make himself as much money as possible by doing as little work as possible and start putting the patients first. I would avoid this man, maybe he was great once, but he is awful now.

Dr. Lowentritt pronounced my father dead, making no eye contact much less any conversation. He spoke only a sentence to the nurse, turned around and left ignoring his daughters. In my opinion, he has no compassion. He also misdiagnosed two elderly women with benign ailments who both turned out to have cancers. I believe that he does not wish to "waste time" on older patients.

My husband & I have been going to Dr. Lowentritt for 15 years now. He is Awesome! He has always been there for us & treats us like family. He has a huge heart & is very kind & compassionate. We know we are getting quality care. He is the best Dr. in the State of Louisiana. Dr. Lowentritt's office staff are always concerned, eager to help with any matter & extremely kind yet professional. We feel Blessed to have these wonderful people in our lives.

This man must be the most cold hearted pompous doctor I have ever encountered. He treated my father and gave him worse than pathetic medical care. His diagnoses were wrong and his methodology was very flawed. He treats his patients with contempt and he is condescending to the families. He believes himself to be God and listens to no one. I would not send my worst enemy to this man. My father survived despite this man's attempt to mistreat him or worse. He is NOT smart like he thinks he is.

Dr. Lowentritt has monitored my health care for many years, ten plus. I have the greatest confidence in his abilities and judgments. I would very highly recommend him. Consistently he is very kind, very accessible, very thorough, never rushing. After each appointment I am always happy. He encourages rather than criticizes. He is always in a good mood. I feel genuine warmth and concern. I want him to see me out. (His nurses and office aides are all helpful and lovely.)
