Dr Kim is always thoughtful and caring with regard to the care of our children. He is patient and listens to our concerns, and addresses them. He doesn't jump to conclusions and doesn't group our children in with the masses when making recommendations about the type of care that is needed. He is not afraid to do the work necessary to help our children, whereas other specialists at Providence seem to regurgitate information out of a text book and are quick to make generalizations. As a majority, providers are failing, but Dr Kim is in the minority because he truly seems to care deeply about his patients

Dr. Was very kind and playful with my baby. He addressed all my concerns and gave me a full overview of everything he was able to see going well and not well and all the options to improve moving forward. His communication was very clear and compassionate. I wish we would have had him as our neurologist sooner!

We absolutely love Dr. KimHe is very attentive and works very hard to help our child with difficult needs. Always considering medication and behavioral needs that best suit our changing and growing child. We couldn't ask for a better doctor

Dr. Kim was awesome
Dr. Kim was nothing but wonderful in our experience. His explanations were nuanced but exact and that he acknowledged the gray and fuzzy areas of medicine we respected and appreciated. I could see this coming across as going 'around and around in circles' but we understood what he was saying and his expertise was clear and evident. I would recommend him to anyone with anyone with epilepsy especially for those with absence epilepsy.

Upon our first neurologist retiring, Dr. Kim is the second neurologist we have had with our son. It has been a welcoming vast difference between the two. We have learned more, from Dr Kim in a much less judgmental atmosphere, than we ever had previously.Which in turn has led us to feel more comfortable how to handle our son's condition.

Dr. Josh is fantastic. Its always a pleasure to either have a Video appointment or when we come into the office. The staff greet us with smiles and we truly feel heard when we are being seen. Thank you!

Dr. Kim really listened to my daughter and to me about her symptoms that have been going on since 2019 and that another peds neurologist completely ignored and said Mom was making her symptoms into a bigger deal. Dr. Kim seemed genuine and wanted to help and gave us answers in order to help her. We appreciate this so very much.

Highly Recommend
I would recommend Dr. Kim to anyone who has a child suffering from migraines. He has been my daughter's doctor for 4 years and has made a huge difference in helping her manage her migraines. From providing her with medicine and helping us understand the research on such medication to keeping an eye on any side effects and communicating with us as often as needed. He is kind and a good listener for both parent and child.

Dr. Kim provided a terrible experience for our visit to discuss our son’s Petit Mal. We were coming in to discuss the difference between JAE and CAE and different treatment options. It was clear Dr. Kim did not review our file or know his patient at all during our visit. He called our son by a different name multiple times. He wouldn’t answer the questions we had but instead talk in circles and site things we previously asked. He was so unprepared and unprofessional I would not recommend him to anyone.
