Excellent Doctor. Excellent Surgeon.
Dr Kesterson performed lifesaving surgeries on me for my cancer. Extremely knowledgeable when it comes to chemo treatments as well. I'm alive today & forever grateful to him & his staff for the excellent care I received over the years. He is missed by many at the Hershey Medical Center. Well liked & admired for his excellence in the care of cancer patients.Highly recommend him & you won't ever find a better choice to trust your life with.

Dr. Kesterson is the best. If it wasn’t for him and his amazing office staff (specifically Anne G.), I wouldn’t be alive today. I would trust him with my life (plot twist: I have, and I would do it again in a heartbeat). Nothing but good things to say about this man. I’m so sad he’s leaving Hershey, but at least he’ll be able to share his gift with the rest of the world wherever he ends up. Thanks x1,000,000 Dr. Kesterson and I wish him so much love and good vibes ??

My mother came to Dr. Kesterson after her diagnosis with a rare, advanced stage cancer. She feels comfortable with him and trusts his expertise. Yes, he might call you “sweetheart” as stated in a negative review, but mannerisms such as these are comforting to many of his patients-like my mom. If you want a physician that will make your health his #1 priority, is an expert in his field and has a sense of humor, then you should definitely go to Dr. Kesterson. Him and his team are the best that you will find.

I was referred to Dr. Kesterson in August of 2017 with Cancer that was pretty progressed. Since then I have had 5 surgeries, all performed by Dr. Kesterson and I cannot say enough good about him. He is professional, but extremely caring and compassionate. Something you do not find in many doctors. He has always treated me with respect and concern, and listens when I have questions and concerns of my own. This disease is a monster, but it is nice to know I have a doctor that I can trust.

After my recent experience with him I would never recommend someone being treated by him. He was rude and disrespectful. He never referred to me by my name - always called me sweetheart- in front of my husband. Was constantly telling me that he was providing a service and I was looking for health care.

My sister had a recent experience with Dr. Kesterson. After sharing the details with a friend (also a physician,) their response was "He's a sell-out....part of the new school of medicine...cares more about being liked by his administrators than the patient. Unfortunately, it's about money and some doctors are conforming ..."

Dr. Kesterson is competent and confident. He is excellent in his field. He has a superb bedside manner and knows how to speak to his patients. His sense of humor is bonus and adds a uniqueness to his style. Highly recommended.
