RUDE.
My mom (70) was asked to draw a clock with a certain time and she was confused between hour and minutes hand. My dad was there and he tried to explain to her about the wall clock. The doctor pointed his finger at my dad yelling. Then he asked my mom to show him the hour hand. My mom grabbed the pen to show him but he grabbed and pulled it very hard with a very angry face. I’ve never seen any doctor like this in 35 years living in the US. I will have my parents go somewhere else and stay away from this man.

Horrible doctor
Worst doctor I've ever seen. He comes across as conceded and much better than anyone else. He doesn't listen and disregards your concerns. Not recommend at all!

You can do much better
Very disappointing experience. He is definitely a know-it-all. I have asthma and he told me I would "grow out of it", even though I was 61 years old! I had to convince him to order a routine blood test during an annual checkup. "You don't need one" he said. Very dismissive attitude. After two visits I was done with him.

RED FLAG!
A cocky, rude, know it all, despite a long term medical history. Zero bedside manner and compassion for patients and their requests. The staff also expressed a strong dislike for him. Would highly NOT recommend Dr. Kachner.

I'm not sure why so many bad reviews, maybe people have goofy expectations of a doctor. Is Dr. Kachner the most gregarious doc ever? No. But he's been a great health care partner for me (and was for my late wife as well) for the past several years. He's helped manage my diabetes to the point where I'm almost off the meds. He asks great questions and listens to my opinions, and is very collaborative. I don't need him to tell jokes, I need him to listen to me, challenge my assumptions, and offer good advice. He does all of this and more. I couldn't be happier.

I am a long term patient of Dr. Kachner’s. Dr. Kachner is incredibly compassionate, effective, and thorough. He has diagnosed and aided me in the treatment of a chronic medical condition. I appreciate his depth of medical knowledge and best practice medical interventions and treatment plans. I highly recommend Dr. Kachner.

This doctor missed classic symptoms of bilateral submassive pulmonary embolisms and I collapsed rushed to ER and ICU. Bedside manner was dismissive even though he acknowledged that I was out of breath trying to talk and oxygen only came up when I sat completely still with my head hanging. His video is nothing like him in person. He ordered a blood test but if he included one test I would not hVe to go through a harrowing experience. I still have anxiety and nightmares

This doctor has been a thorn in my side since I moved here and was assigned him. He isn’t “comfortable” writing scripts for pretty much anything aside from opiates and he doesn’t really show empathy towards a single patient. He is clearly in the field for the money and nothing else. I just fired him because he said he won’t prescribe me medications that I have been on for 4+ years and because he is a passive aggressive man with a staff of rude employees.

I strongly discourage anyone from ever seeing him. Dr. Kachner thinks he knows everything and let's you know it. He acted arrogant and rude. He has zero people skills and doesn't care about patients. He interrogated me for a while, trying to prove that I didn't have ADD. I've been diagnosed by multiple doctors as being positive for it. He then told me I was wrong and that I didn't know anything.

Would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I should have read all of the prior reviews on him and cancelled my appointment. It was a total waste of my time. He could have prescribed a medication that would have helped me but didn't. It was a shame the insurance paid him. Plus I never received an evaluation form from this office visit as he knew he would get a bad review.

Great physician - really cares about all of your conditions. He is willing to listen, analyzes all the records, inputs accordingly and is willing to do what it takes to help his patients. I'm now traveling cross country to visit him!
