Skilled Pain Specialist
Found Dr. Greenspan to be a competent pain specialist. Delivers injections in manner where I didn't feel a thing. Nice office and comfortable setting. My sense is that he's extremely process driven so you need to be organized with your thoughts surrounding your specific pain assessment. His procedures ultimately helped me which is my ultimate litmus test.

went to Dr Greenspan for almost a year after Dr Lehn had left the office, I was told I couldn't follow him. I found Dr Greenspan to be pompous, and didn't hear what I was saying. He got mad at me if you different times, and was super rude to me. His injections were quite painful. He mentioned not prescribing pain meds any longer, he doesn't feel like they work long-term. The reason I left his office? Was a much bigger problem after receiving the results of my MRI he told me nothing was new, no changes, basically nothing wrong, and continued to do his normal push the stimulator on me. That's the day I left his office and never came back. A while afterwards I had a CT scan that showed I actually have a fracture in my back and my back never fused. It was him saying nothing was wrong with me when I'm in severe pain and I knew that was not the truth, and (him not listening) is why I removed myself from his care. I don't trust him to be my pain doctor. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but I feel strongly that he was not the doctor for me. When you are in pain you rely on the doctor to listen and to treat the pain. Being in pain takes a toll and is very scary if you feel the doctor isn't going to listen to you and isn't going to help you to control the pain. That's why you need pain management.

Cervical nerve block...
Nov. 20, 2020 I saw Dr. Greenspan for the first time. I have a 30 year history of cervical neck pain. 10 years ago my neurologist suggested that I have a nerve block. It seemed too risky to me at the time. fast forward ten years I was referred to Dr. Greenspan for pain management. I had a consultation, and he discussed my options. He didn't pressure me, he showed diagrams of what was contributing to me neck pain, and how the nerve block would help alleviate the pain. Well my pain was under control. I hoping for 6-9 months of relief, and got over 14 months. Heading back for another round, hoping this series of injections will last even longer. I wish I had done this years ago.

I have been a patient of DR G’s for 12 yrs. I have been fighting cancer for 17 yrs.I first met the king of pain when he worked for the other guy ..... Then he started his practice where he is today he has gone to extreme lengths for my pain situation above and beyond for me and has always made me feel like I was and am important to him he is the greatest pain MD hands down. And he also listens to my problems a lot of the time, I never feel rushed when I’m there for my office visit or injections Highly recommend DOCTOR GREENSPAN !!!!! He is the best at what he does. 10 stars ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??

As someone else has said, Dr. Greenspan can be a bully. He can also be nice which can cause anxiety b/c you never know which mood he'll be in. Thankfully I only had 2 interactions with him. 1 time he was a bully and the other time he was calm and pleasant. If you suffer from anxiety I wouldn't recommend him! He is skilled at injections but I think his clinic forces them on patients in exchange for pain meds. No injections? No meds. Rather you need or would benefit from an injection or not.

The front office lady Tram Fultz is worse receptionist/ front desk I ever encounter. I was stuck in traffic and construction and it takes 1.5 hour instead of 1 hr to get there. But I am still 10-15 minutes before my appointment time. Tram gave me bad attitude on phone and in person that I did not fill out online registration form and come half an hour for appointment. Yes I forgot about the form and I was stuck in traffic and still has 10-15 mins before my appointment time to fill out the form. But she said “the doctor cannot take you because you did not fill out forms in advance and do not come half an hour early. Therefore you need to reschedule the appointment and refuses to take me. I request to speak the doctor after I finish paperwork maybe 10 mins into 1 1/2 hour appointment and she said doctor cannot see and talk to you, he is with another patient. How can you schedule someone on my appointment slot when I arrive 10-15 mins before appointment? Ridiculous. worse customer service

My husband & I retired from the the USAF after 26 years of service. During this time we transferred from one place to another and I always had to start over again with a new doctor, and from scratch having to go through the entire process over and over again. Even though I've already had all of the test injections and all of the diagnostic testing done I had to start this process again once more, however DrGreanspan and Johnny with nuvectra for the SCS gave me hope I haven't had in yrs

I have learned to not see a doctor who owns his own practice. He only helps who he wants, profiles you as a drug seeker. i'm 25, and it was his idea to give me oxycodone and he just kept me on that for too long. my last office visit, I confronted him that I'm an adult and he only takes me seriously if I brought a parent or my boyfriend. and I'm 25... he should treat me as an adult. His staff mostly is nice especially the younger girls, but he is on a powertrip. DO NOT SEE HIM.

I would highly recommend Dr. Greenspan to my family and friends, and have. The number one thing I appreciate the most, Dr. Greenspan, is when you have an appointment at ( American Pain Institute), you will be seen by a highly knowledgeable doctor who listens to you and actually wants to help you....nothing less.

He is absolutely wonderful. I am petrified of needles and he completely understood. I barely felt the needle and he explains everything he is doing which I like to know and I think he truly cares and he listens. I have had some horrific experiences. I am never going to another doctor. Thank God for such a wonderful person. I highly recommend going to him. I know he is going to help me get rid of some of my pain. And he is highly intelligent which is awesome and he is funny. Thank you Doc! Elizab

I was discharged before my fourth visit. I was going weekly. I was discharged for not , repeat not taking my medicine lorazapram. I took my suboxone nut because I was weaning myself off, he discharged Mr. He has called withdrawal meds dome of which I never hesrd of. I would understand if I was taking something illegal buy I wasn't. Im very nervous of what's going to happen. I just don't believe it. All he had to fo us not prescribed it anymore.. I find this very distressing. I'm shaking now.

DO NOT GO to him. He puts you on very high dose pain medicine. Then finds a reason to drop you. And has is office people tell you not himself. The he sends some withdrawal medicine to a pharmacy that I never used at all while I was seeming him. Because he sent to the wrong pharmacy they couldn't check on interactions with my heart medicine that could of killed me.

I was seeing Dr Greenspan for back pain, during this time one of my pee test showed Morphine, at first I didn't know why, the next day I remembered that I was at a cookout and having a lot of pain, someone told me they had a pain med that was same as what I was on. I called her and asked her if it was Morphine, she said yes,(very low dose) DR Greenspan put me on probation but called on day of my appointment and said he wouldn't see me! Very unprofessional, I am 57 and do NOT abuse drugs,
