Dr. Alexander is a unicorn!!!
This man saved my life and gave me back hope in the medical system and Dr’s in general within 5 minutes of meeting him. I had a seizure while driving and hit another car head on. I broke my back, both ankles, and had a concussion. After being under the care of a prominent neurologist from UCSD for 7 months, she discharged me saying my symptoms would eventually subside and they were probably due to my mental state of “depression” and she advised me to follow up with a psychologist!! I refused to accept this answer and did my own research and read an article Dr. Alexander was featured in about PCS (post concussion syndrome). So, I changed my insurance and waited 4 months to be able to see Dr. Alexander and it was the best life decision I’ve ever made! A YEAR of suffering and hundreds of Dr’s appts and Dr. Alexander figured out I had a severe TBI within 15 minutes. He got me into the Brain Rehabilitation program at Scripps hospital immediately and I was on my way to healing. Best Dr.!

Awesome doctor
Very caring, personable and interested in the patient, new ideas and approaches to pre diabetes, very thorough, unfortunately everybody loves him, so it might be difficult to make an appointment

Genuinely kind, caring, and knowledgeable. He is very busy and for good reason; it is difficult to find a doctor invested in your care and willing to jump in alongside you to help find the best plan. Dr. Alexander is a rare find.
