100% saved my baby girls life making a decision for an emergency c section cause she was in fetal distress !!

I saw Dr. Ackerman after having a miscarriage. He consistently implied that I was blaming myself (after several clarifications from me stating that I knew I hadn't done anything to cause the miscarriage), asked me why I would want to bring a child into this messed up world, told me I should look at it as a blessing because this child could have had complications that may have compromised my relationship with my partner and current child, and told me he knew exactly how I was feeling because his wife had a miscarriage. I walked into the office in tears of sadness and walked out in a fit of rage. I would never recommend this doctor and left the practice altogether because of him.

He was very professional, excellent bed side manor, was very caring, very knowledgeable. Actually gave out his cell phone number for any follow up care or if I had any concerns. He performed laparoscopic surgery on me and made me at ease.

Does not promote physiological birth. Unhealthy looking, useless “doctor.”

I was hesitant because of previous reviews, now seeing they obviously were wrong. Dr. Ackerman made me feel comfortable and at ease. He is very blunt but in a good way. He took the time to get to know a little about me, he has a personality I guess some people don't like real. Thank you Dr. Ackerman you're the bomb.com

I went to see Dr. Ackerman for my yearly exam and to ask about fertility. Having Lupus I read he had experience. He is the WORST doctor I have ever gone to. EVER! Before I could say anything about my history he said my chance of conceiving is slim to none. No exam had been done yet. During exam he blurted out you have fibroids. Get a hysterectomy! Then said, " It is what it is" and walked out. Went to another doctor and he did all the necessary tests and said I was fine and I conceived.

Dr. Ackerman is one of the absolute Best, most Kindest, and compassionate Dr.s I've ever been so fortunate to be under the care of. I say this as someone who has lived in multiple states, been a patient of & had to deal with a wide variety of Dr.s, in many different places. After a few yrs out of county, he holds firm place as 1 of the best 2, (of many pretty great Dr.s), Ive ever seen in my 40 plus years, having had 4 children! He's Caring, Respectful, Pleasant, and very Professional!

Doctor Ackerman is a TERRIABLE DOCTOR!!! DO NOT GO TO HIM FOR YOUR PREGNANCY. He doesn't care about your child or you. He rushes to give C sections. 1) He induced me with OUT my consent. At no time did I agree to receive oxytocin, 2) I sat in the hospital room all day. How many times did I see him? 1 and that was when they told me my baby was coming. While I was thinking about the c section he said i needed he was rude and bascially told me my baby would die if I didnt do it now

The nurses are rude and cold and they do not call you back. Very poor professional care in my opinion.

He is very nice until it comes to the delivery. He cares more about his schedule then the patient and baby. He insulted my intelligence when I mentioned my concerns about being induced, wanted to break my water when I was only 2 cm dilated, delivered my placenta as if he was a butcher and there's more but I cant add the whole experience due to character count... I would never step foot in his office again! Do yourself a favor and go find another OB.

Dr. Ackerman cares about the health and personal experience of each of his patients. This is my second pregnancy in which he has been my OB and I would have it any other way. He does his best to create a relationship with each client even going as far as giving out a cell phone number for you to text him whenever you have questions or any concerns throughout your pregnancy he is just one click away.

He is an amazing doctor. Very kind a thorough.

Truly the worst experience I have ever had at an OBGYN or any doctor's office for that matter. Dr. Ackerman took no time to address my concerns (I'm not kidding, he sat down with me for less than 1 minute) before kicking me out of his office. Seriously, I highly recommend that no one ever chooses to come to his office unless they want to waste their time and leave feeling disrespected. DO NOT CHOOSE HIM AS YOUR DOCTOR!

Wonderful bedside manner. Puts you at ease.

I have been seeing Dr Ackerman for over 3 yrs. He's very thorough and honest. It doesn't take long to realize that he's there for you, not the other way around. He's so engaging that he puts you at ease. He has a fantastic staff. His father also works at the same office, so it's more like a family taking care of you.

I have been going to him as a doctor for a few years and recently he delivered my first child. He put my husband and I at ease when i was upset finding out that i needed a C-section. He came out and met the family in the hospital and even allowed my husband to join him and pray during the circumcision of our son! He is a caring doctor. Makes you feel comfortable with his personality and bedside manor. His nurse Lisa and the office staff in west palm beach are also very nice and welcoming.

Arrogant, unprofessional, careless doctor. He rushes though the exams, does not pay attention to details, does not care about your concerns or suggestions and as a result women miscarriage. Had very bad experience and do not recommend him to anyone. Stay away!!!
