Honest Surgeon
Exactly 14 days ago, I had a surgery to remove the hardware from my wrist that was initially put in by another doctor. Today, I wish I had this removed a year ago. I feel very good and my recovery is lightning fast. Of course I am still limited to do certain things, but the fact that I can do them just 2 weeks post op is spectacular ?? Last year, I consulted with three surgeons regarding the removal. Dr. Mo was recommended by a friend and I have to tell you - I am very happy I made this decision. She was honest and didn’t try to do any extra procedures unlike the other two (one wanted to cut my ulna and put a plate and the other wanted to release a muscle that didn’t need to be released). She is not about the money; she is about what’s needed and she really cares.

NOT GOOD
Not positive...she spent about 5 total minutes at our 1st appointment, does not return calls or test results & can't be reached...a person is never available to speak with you...you must leave a message and pray they will return your call...not a good experience for a serious surgery!

I went to Dr. Mo based on a referral from a friend. She showed very little concern or compassion for my injuries. If you try to ask her questions it's hard to get past an aggravating tone in her voice. Overall bad experience especially after my appointment when I tried to get additional help.

Dr. Mo is an exceptional physician, she is a talented doctor who is very knowledgeable in her field and she was also very good at working with me and explaining my condition and what she could do for me. My right arm and hand were a mess, I had carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel and tennis elbow and a trigger finger to deal with. Dr. Mo did both tunnel surgery’s at the same time and the surgeries were minimally invasive and the recovery time was short. The trigger finger was a cortisone shot. Dr. Mo prescribed physical therapy for my tennis elbow. I now need to say that the physical therapy was located in the same building and they worked hand in hand with Dr. Mo and they were good at what they do. One more thing, the entire staff that I met there operated as a team, I very impressed with the whole operation!

She listens to what you have to say and then explains what she feels needs to be done I had 3 trigger fingers 2 fingers on one hand and one on the other had cortisone shots done once she explained what I will experience with the shot will be over in 3 secs, it was painful also explained she can do surgery. The one shot has lasted 6 mons or more I will go back to get another shot. had carpel tunnel on both hands, did explain symptoms might go away the reason keep from getting worse

Dr. Mo has performed three separate surgeries on my right hand over the past few years to correct residual damage due to rheumatoid arthritis. I cannot say enough about how great she is a surgeon. She is extremely thoughtful and comprehensive in her evaluation, explains treatment options very thoroughly and most importantly, she is a very skilled surgeon. I have had better than expected results with each surgery. I highly recommend her.

Was disappointed that I couldn't be seen for 3 weeks (or 4 weeks in my preferred location) but was very happy with Dr. Mo and her staff. I injured my thumb 5 weeks earlier, had xrays done elsewhere and was told no fracture was seen. Dr. Mo saw the fracture on the original xrays and took new xrays to check the progress of the healing. She explained the injury clearly, gave me a paper copy of the images and answered all my questions.

Not honest-gives a diagnosis if she sees u have insurance that targets joint replacement or operation both which severely limit ur activities 4 the rest of ur life. She made the completely false statement that u can't get more than 2 cortisone shots per joint because they deteriorate joint cartilage. After the 2nd shot an operation (big dollars for her!) is necessary. When I went for stem cell therapy also found out I had fluid in joints that if she had drained would have reduced pain & swelling

She was compassionate, gentle, super friendly, explained everything clearly, took time with me and my symptoms. I've had enough times and interaction with her ( not just one time visit ) to think she is truly incredible and patient as a doctor. I do not even recognize the actual person with the negative reviews I see on this site. Think she is one of the best specialists I've ever met. The entire practice is fantastic. My family has gone for various reason through the years.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Mo?
She was VERY condescending. Acted like I was wasting her precious time and was almost snide about it. I had lost the use of my hand due to pain, was not able to hold an empty coffee cup, yet she looked at my x-ray report and scowled that I had arthritis - end of discussion. Nothing about what I could do to help it, no help at all. Spent 5 minutes with me, and walked out.
