Dr. Wilson is the man. The staff was awesome. Definitely would recommend him and his staff. Professional and caring all in one place.

Extremely well-run, organized and caring staff and facilities (Outpatient as well as North Carolina Specialty Hospital). Dr. Wilson is one of those rare surgeons that has excellent 'bedside manner' and he definitely does not walk into the exam room ready to just talk at the patient. He listens, explains thoroughly and seeks patient feedback and understanding. Based on my surgery results I can only say his technical and surgical skills are excellent. Finally, it's clear that all members of the Emergortho team understand the culture of excellent patient care.

Dr. Wilson asks questions for understanding, listens well, and responds directly to questions. He provides options for treatment and engage me as part of the decision-making process. He took time to explain the pros and cons of the treatment options.

I was nervous. I was in pain. Dr. Wilson put me at ease. I knew after looking at his resume that I was in great hands. Great staff associates.

Dr. Wilson is an excellent surgeon. He takes time to explain procedures in terms that are easily understandable and drawing diagrams. He did a reverse shoulder replacement on me and I am extremely satisfied with the results. Having had eight orthopedic surgeries over the past 3 years I must say Dr Wilson and his staff are the very best. He performed a reverse total shoulder on me and I couldn't be happier. Office wait times are only a few minutes. They are extremely polite and thorough. This is how medical care should be. Many other surgeons and offices could learn a lot from Dr Wilson and his staff!

Dr. Wilson performed a rotator cuff & slap repair on me in March 2018. With age & active grandblessings both shoulders need Dr. Wilson's magic touch. My left shoulder will be next w/a complete reverse replacement. I'm terrified but Dr. Wilson has such an incredible bedside manner that extends beyond your time in the office, that he calms my nerves. He has an awesome staff for support. All of the staff listens to what you have to say & have been doing this long enough that they understand what you can't explain. There is never a dumb question. Dr. Wilson called to check on me multiple times after my first surgery. He is the closest doctor that I have ever seen that feels like a cross between an old school doctor and a concierge doctor. If you commit to your follow up appointments and physical therapy care, healing should be a breeze. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Wilson and his team!

Dr Wilson performed rotator cuff surgery on me. I had a large tear. He fixed it and I did great afterward with his direction for my PT. He communicated great with me and explained exactly what he did. Would definitely go to him again.

Nice guy but my shoulder is much worse then before he operated on me. Was really hoping for better results.

Dr. Wilson performed total shoulder replacement needed due to an accident that occurred 25 years ago. Over the years several specialists told me nothing could be done. Dr. Wilson took time to explore the problems and recommend solutions. He restored abilities and quality of life that I’ve lacked for decades. When meetings both before and after the procedure, he clearly explained everything and was always amazingly accessible. Something that sounded "too good to be true" was actually true.

Incredible Doctor, very personable, kind and down to earth. Highly recommend. Wish I could give him more than 5 stars.

Hands down one of the best shoulder surgeons in Raleigh! If you have shoulder pain this is the guy to see. Personable and skilled and even gave me his cell phone if I had any issues. Thank you Dr. Wilson!

His P.A., Meghan and M.A. Adrienne are also awesome! They make an amazing and dynamic team that delivers the best orthopaedic care! His smile can warm a room!
