Doctor recommended surgery on a minor fracture; today I’m still In pain and with much less mobility from the day he consulted! Cut and Collect doctor; highly suggest looking further from his knowledge.

My visit was horrible, Dr. Wilkes acted as though he could care less, he told me he really didn't know what to tell me concerning the shoulder and arm pain I was feeling. He said he would recommend PT. The PT order specified no treatment needed or anything, just simply shoulder pain. I reported him to the appropriate staff to no avail, this place sucks, stear clear at all cost, a rip off

Not satisfactory. I am no better than I was before the R knee surgery performed by Dr. Wilkes. My physical therapy order was not submitted until 30days post surgery which grossly delayed my healing process. My follow up was short and vague. I thought he left the exam room momentarily, however, he never returned to completely explain what had been done during surgery and what I really needed to do post surgery.

This was my first time for a broken bone--a finger--and an appointment with an Orthopedist. My treatment by Dr. Wilkes and his staff have been exceptional in terms of number of appointments, thoroughness, X rays, instructions, and explanations as to my responsibility for a successful recovery. I found OrthoAtlanta a group of caring and kind professionals, and I send my sincere thanks.

Dr. Wilkes is very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. He repaired my wrist and shoulder, resulting in full use of wrist and shoulder since the surgeries. He is also great in fracture care. I never felt rushed during an appointment, Dr. Wilkes takes his time to listen to his patients' concerns, discusses the treatment options, and you will leave confident that the right choice of treatment was made.

Dr. Wilkes is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He listened to my concerns and discussed options before we jointly decided on my treatment plan. I had a broken wrist and am a trainer. He assured me I'd have full use of my wrist, and I do! I highly recommend Dr. Wikles and the staff at Or tho Atlanta.

Dr. Wilkes did my knee replacement and did an excellent job. A very good listener, he was willing to consider other remedies as opposed to going straight to surgery. (very different experience from other docs I saw). He took great care of me and closely followed my progress through and after rehab. He consistently answered all my questions and I trusted his decisions. As a result, I now have my life back and am very active. I have and will continue to recommend him to others.

He is the only Orthopedic Doctor I would ever trust again.. I went to one that was close to home and he didn't even do an X-ray. Dr. Wilkes took the time to listen to what was wrong and found my stress fracture in seconds. He has the best bedside manner as well and considering doctors that is a rarity.

This was the worst "Doctor" I've ever visited. He had no sympathy for what I was going through, didn't make me feel like a priority, and I was not satisfied with my knee surgery.

Dr. Wilkes is an excellent doctor. I went in because I had been diagnosed somewhere else with a sprained wrist. It had been 6 weeks and I was still in pain. Dr. Wilkes was friendly, detailed in the information he gave me, took his time with me, answered all of my questions. My wrist was actually broken, not just sprained. The x-ray tech was super fast and got results without pain caused to me. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff and the whole experience. Highly recommended!
