Dr. Joseph Vijungco, MD

Office staff was chaotic, exam rooms were dirty and chipping paint. The walls are thin and conversations could be heard through the walls. Medical assistant was loud and pushy like a used car sales man and my nurse smelled like cigarettes

Dr.Joseph Vijungco is an excellent Vascular surgon but the office scheduler at his Chandler office is not organized and confused the heck out of me when trying to get dates and locations set up for an ultrasound and follow up appointments. They were set up for the next two days at a different locations. While standing in front of her I entered the addresses, dates and times for both appointments. Wouldn't you know because of all the disruptive scheduling conversations I showed up at the wrong location. Dates and locations were switched on my calendar. They need to improve the scheduling process without all the distractions going on around the scheduling desk it was confusing and caused a delayed and rescheduling of an appointment.

Dr. Vijungco is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor who listens to his patients and takes the time to explain the procedure he recommends and answers all your questions. In addition, he has a wonderful staff both in his office and surgery center. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to him by my primary care doctor. Dr. Vijungco is the best.

Dr. Vijungco is a cut above many doctors. He is highly trained, More than competent and most of all a truly caring person that makes you feel secure in his care.

Dr. Vijungco and his staff are remarkable people to me. I have had swelling leg andd ankle problems for several years now. I was seeing a vein doctor in CO and she just sent me to a therapist. After much testing by Dr. Vijungco and his staff, they found an artery blockage above my left knee and I am awaiting surgery. Now at least I know what my problem is. He went very in-depth and was very thorough as was his MA, Nicole. Thanks you guy.

Excellent Service. Nicole (PA) was outstanding! Victor who performed my ultra sounds was super nice and very professional Front Office and Medical Assistant Irene also a "gem" I wuld definitely recommend anything to this office.

Dr. Vijungco is THE BEST. If any “improvement”, it would be to be more relaxed when communicating with patient. The technicians are very qualified and office in general is efficient. The P.A. (Nicole) is fantastic! Any improvement needed? Yes. The scheduling gal seems TOO BUSY. It used to be Vicky would be on top of it all! Now, it’s almost a week since post-op clearance, and I still have not heard from Kaylee. But I am so very pleased that Dr. Vijungco is my Vascular Surgeon!

I would highly recommend Dr. Vijungco for vascular issues. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and listens to his patients. His staff is phenomenal. They accommodate your needs and I am not waiting a month to have an issue addressed. They are all competent, concerned and friendly. My wait time checking in is less than 1 0 minutes.

We would highly recommend Dr Vijungco to anyone considering any vascular surgery. He explains thoroughly and we always understand the surgery and outcomes. His surgery skills are outstanding. Plus, he and his staff are truly nice people.

Dr V shares his medical knowledge of my case in layman terms for my better understanding. I believe he is intelligent and superior in his field while working towards a healthy and positive outcome for my health issues. Our relationship has built my trust and confidence in his ability to treat and care for me as the best vascular doctor and surgeon in the area. His dedication is reflected in his tenacious efforts to help me be the best I can possibly be.

Dr Vijungeo is an enormously talented physician and surgeon. I had recent carotid surgery, I have serious cardiac and lung issues. I have great confidence in this Dr. would not go to anyone else. He’s the BEST as are Amy and Nicole.

Dr. Vijungco performed a 7 hour operation on my father many years ago, saving his leg. Sometimes we get a call to reschedule our appointment, but I completely understand because he has to go save another patient's leg. I would not have taken my father or anyone in my family to anyone else.

I have been going to Dr. Vijungco for 12 years. He is the most caring Dr. I had and emergency surgery in the middle of the night, and he saved my life.

My husband had a horrible experience with this surgeon. He is very arrogant, blunt and highly defensive if questioned about his surgical ability and experience. Not very comforting or personable. We would never recommend him to anyone.

I would NOT go to any of these offices!! The surgery scheduler Kailey never gets back to you, I have waited 3 mo for a procedure that should have only taken 1 mo. They schedule surgeries with NO authorization just because they want to fill up the schedule! Then you get stuck with a $15,000 bill!! They leave you on hold for 20 to 30 minutes at a time because they are always so short staffed!! This place is awful and Dr. Vijungco is rude and never makes time for his patients!! Nicole is AWESOME!!

Arrived to see man (80s) sitting in wheelchair in sun (100s). He didn't want to be in freezing AC & was left unattended in sun instead of shade. Staff x2 never introduced themselves - name or title - asked elderly pt with dementia what he weighed. Told unknown staff person not to chart, he doesn't know you need to weigh him. She responded, "It doesn't matter I just need to put in something." Which reflected 11 lb weight loss in 7 days. NO washing of hands before/after, no wound assessment etc.

Office staff is courteous and efficient. Doctor and PA (Nicole) are very intelligent, knowledgeable, articulate and caring. I highly recommend this entire team!

Dr. Vinjungco is an exceptionally talented medical doctor and surgeon with a benchmark performance staff.

Dr. Vijungco is a great Doctor with a wonderful staff at the Mesa location, but with the exception of Jackie, front desk clerk at the Chandler office. I interacted with Jackie on several occasions and she always sounds irritated and annoyed... she appears concerned about your situation, but will not follow through or call back patients when she clearly says she will... Not very trust worthy!
