Incompetent and Unaccountable
Dr. Spindler and his staff waited nearly one month to inform my wheelchair ridden father of a complication that could have killed him. The office was defensive when notified of their negligence. DO NOT TAKE YOURSLED OR A FAMLIY TO THIS DOCTOR.

Dr Spindler is fantastic. I went to him with a major lupus flareup at the age of 28. Saw him until the age of 63 and would drive 3 1/2 hrs every two months to see him and any time I had an issue he always knew what to do and I would be back on track. He is a great listener, a great Dr, good hearted, and I am very blessed to have had him all those yrs to depend on him and his expertise. As a patient, I knew to do as he said, he never failed me. I will forever be grateful to him and I would recommend him to anyone wholeheartedly. Thank you again Dr. Spindler!

Dr. Spindler has been my rheumatologist for a long time. He's patient with my questions, explains things to me if I need clarification, is surehanded when I need a shot in the thumb, and makes me feel like a valued patient. He is not above recommending traditional remedies but he is also prepared to recommend cutting edge procedures - it all depends upon what I need. He is the only doctor I've had that is simply never late. I think an average wait time is about 10 minutes! His nurse makes me feel welcome and returns my sense of humor with a delightful smile. I absolutely recommmend him to anyone with arthritis.

I have been a patient for several years now. He has a wonderful bedside manner, his nurse is awesome as well. The Staff is always friendly and gets back to you in a reasonable time. I travel about 5 hours each way to see Dr. Spindler, I feel he is always patient and truly cares about what my concerns are and how I am feeling. That is why I feel that it is worth driving the long distances. I am grateful for his knowledge and kindness during a very scary time for me.

I'm a new patient with Dr. Spindler for osteoarthritis, mostly of the hands, but starting elsewhere as well. He's thorough and listens and gives good explanations instead of just short answers. I'm looking forward to positive treatment for the arthritis.

I have been a patient for 20 years. Dr. Spindler and his team consistently deliver exemplary service. The doctor is patient and spends the necessary time to listen to all my questions and concerns. His care goes beyond Rheumatology. He treats me not as patient, but as a person. That care and quality can not be measured. His team is outstanding. They listen to each concern and are quick to respond when an issue or an appointment is required. They maintain a high level of patient care.

I have been a patient with Dr Spindler and I think he is great. Reception, nurse, office, scheduling, knowledge, wait time, and he explains things. I wouldn’t have stayed with him as a patient this long if he wasn’t good. Very satisfied.

If you are looking for a Lyme disease Dr., which he claims to be, save your money and look elsewhere. He spent lots of our insurance money and in the end tried to refer him to his Doctor friends for all the other things he doesn't specialize in and did nothing for the Chronic Lyme. All because again only 2 strains of Lyme showed up in the test - big surprise - instead of taking into account the initial bulls eye rash years ago, history, proximity, time spent in tick areas etc.

Dr. Spindler is the BEST!! He's knowledgeable and caring, and I wouldn't go to any other rheumatologist. Over the years he has helped me with SO many issues, and when I had to move away for a few years, it was awful. So glad to be back in Houston.
