Dr. Shinn delivered my twins (and no, Joseph wasn't actually named after him, but because of that, Dr. Shinn IS included in Joseph's birth name story for life -haha) and he was so encouraging during my whole twin pregnancy (advance maternal age, too!) and I cried when I left my follow up appt after the twins were born because he and his awesome nurse (Tammy?) became like family. Excellent bedside manner. Very gentle and kind. I wish he was a PCP!

Dr. Shinn is the best OB/GYN in Indiana. He listens attentively and thoroughly explains results in proper English. His RN Debbie is very sweet, she is very courteous and polite! Their office is very clean, and they treat everyone equally the same. The Women's Clinic in East Lafayette, Indiana, is by far the best all-natal care, female anatomy system care! You will never be disappointed with their facility!

I saw Dr. Shinn throughout my pregnancy, and he was the dr. for my delivery. He made sure to listen to my preferences for L&D, making the entire experience very smooth. If I have another child, I want him to be my dr., and I would recommend him to friends. The only downside is that he does not have what I would consider a good amount of time to spend with patients. This is a result of him being a good, hence overbooked, dr. and our healthcare system, rather than him not wanting to spend the time

I had a d&c done. Came out of anesthetic with no nausea & very little cramping. By evening, i was doing laundry and normal activities with no pain. The staff was great & answered all my questions. Definately took away the nervousness. Thank you Dr.Shinn!!

Dr. Shinn was my OB for my son & I was extremely happy with his care throughout & during the C-section delivery. He has also completed a DaVinci Hysterectomy on me in 2015 and I could not believe how amazing the procedure & recovery was. I was able to travel 10 days later and was completely healed very quickly without any complications.
