Very Disappointed
My kindly, wonderful physician of 20 years retired and recommended Dr.Pallan. But Dr. Pallan is nothing like my prior physician. I went him initially; his whole office left me cold. I found another physician, but she moved, so I went back to Dr. Pallan. Big mistake! I’ve seen him for a few visits over two years, and he seems ignorant of my medical history, which I sent from my prior physicians. He never seems to review my chart, and he doesn’t recommend typical preventative procedures. He took bloodwork one visit but never followed up. (I picked up my results with his office staff.) He didn’t call in my blood pressure prescription, even though I had given him the pharmacy information more than once. He seemed skeptical of my migraines, which I have had for 40 years and are documented numerous times in my medical records. Overall, he seems quite dismissive of me. I plan to find a new physician.

Great doctor who listens
My husband & I have been going to Dr Pallan for at least 10 years. He knows his stuff, listens to concerns, gives great referrals when needed, and is very caring. Can get an appointment same or next day if needed. More lead time is needed for physicals. Staff is friendly and helpful. Several times when I had a serious problem, he personally called and set up an appointment with a specialist for me…..to be sure I was seen promptly. We lived in Ocean City for 6 years and came back to him when needed. We both think highly of him and trust his judgment.

He is horrible. Went with a family member. Never checked her. Didn’t listen to my concerns. Rush us out in 5 minutes.

Rushed out (less than 5 minutes)
Rushed out in less than 5 minutes. No interest in discussing or seeing the issue. Wanted to discuss something else, but the appointment was over due to lack of engagement and interest. Never sent my arcs into pharmacy.

I have always been able to get an appointment easily. All the staff are very efficient. Dr Pallan is very experienced and knowledgeable, he is relaxed and friendly, and knows exactly how to treat or what to do. His referrals to specialists and PT have always been good.

Fantastic Dr. I have been going to Dr. Pallan since he took over the practice, he is a very caring individual and treats you like you are part of his family. His professionalism and knowledge put you at ease knowing you are in good hands. He is the only person that I and my wife will see. We moved to the Eastern Shore and still go back to him for our annual checkup!

When my previous Dr. retired, I was very upset because it tool a long time to find a wonderful physician with whom I felt comfortable and confident. When he recommended Dr Pallan, I scheduled an appointment. I have to say that I couldn't be happier under his care. He knows is stuff and is very through.

After nearly 2 years of visiting Dr. Pallan, I felt more and more like a number. It was difficult to get beyond just the standard check up type issues. His apparent lack of interest and/or time left me feeling like he was in a hurry to get more tests or procedures completed. He would complain about insurance companies but then also explain how he could say the right things to get the insurance companies to pay for things. Office staff were focused but not necessarily on the patients.
