Dr Nezgoda was able to restore my sight after I had a cataract surgery that left me partially blind. I did not know that there could even be a complication from cataract surgery. If your ophthalmologist is inexperienced -they leave the pieces of cataract in the eye and your vision is blurred forever. Dr. Nezgoda is kind, follows up in person, answers all questions and he is highly skilled-he saved my vision. He is a surgeon's surgeon - he is the one to go to if you have serious issues.

I feel confident in this doctor. He was highly recommended by a friend of mine who is also a doctor. Retina had a hole and he fixed it. Really solid all around and explained it all to me. His receptionist Tammy was also super nice.

My father has seen this doctor a few times, but never again. Describing this doctor as terrible would be kind. Shows up late, bad attitude and curses at patients and staff. Don’t think about asking him a question, he will snap at you. He needs a reality check.

Dr Joe Nezgoda is a wonderful eye doctor specializing in retina issues. I had some serious eye problems CRVO, and the treatment includes some delicate and potentially uncomfortable and dangerous treatment. He was very calming and careful and I have to say I have the utmost trust and confidence in his abilities and knowledge. I would highly recommend Dr Nezgoda to anyone with retinal eye issues and his staff in whose office Dr Nezgoda practices.

Dr nezgoda did a fantastic job getting rid of my floaters. Retina surgery went great. Vision 100% better!

It is extremely scary when you go blind in one eye, literally overnight! The next morning, I was referred to Dr. Nezgoda by my ophthalmologist and he performed surgery within hours of my visit. My vision was restored! Knowing I have an exceptional doctor and his team working to keep me healthy is very reassuring and a comfort. This “doctor” has zero care and concern for his patients AND EMPLOYEES! I was a patient for four months-too long!!! I went to Mettleman! I prefer a doctor that has time to explain patient condition and prognosis! I witnessed his rude behavior toward employees?!?!
