For many months I had a serious stomach problem that my current gastro Dr. Failed to diagnose. My husband had been going to Dr. McKinley for ten years or so and so I decided to see him for a second opinion. he is kind, professional and listens to my problem. Within a couple of weeks,but felt so good. His support staff is outstanding, including his personal assistant (PA).

My husband has been going to him for the past 13 years and I recently started going to him because I had an issue that was unresolved from a different Dr. And he was able to help me identify the problem and now I feel so much better. Dr. McKinley is so knowledgeable, kind and professional. His staff is the best at what they do.

From the moment we walk in, Dr. McKinley’s staff is welcoming, happy, polite and professional.Physicians assistants Kayla and Stephanie are very knowledgable yet patient and friendly.We had a previous doctor who had a P.A. who did not show confidence or knowledge and we always left their office confused and frustrated. Our concerns were never addressed. Dr. McKinley’s office is the exact opposite!!!Thank you for making a scary experience much more pleasant.

Great staff and preop visits

Dr. McKinley took the time to review all my concerns with me. This was my first visit with him, I was referred by a family member. He had a wonderful, caring demeanor. His approach was direct and thorough. I am finally feeling better and I am so happy!

Dr. McKinley explained the virus impact and then we focused on the problems I’ve been having. He does a real good job of explaining how to reduce the pain I’m having with medication and other lifestyle changes. Ordering tests to know exactly where I stand is very important. The staff is very friendly and quite knowledgeable as well! Been with Dr McKinley since I moved here three years ago!

Dr McKinley “helped” me while I was in Palm Coast Hospital with severe vomiting and nausea. He breezed in after a few hours and immediately started judging me on why I was there instead of asking my symptoms. He shrugged me off and said that he’d be back and then didn’t return until I saw him in the OR two days later. Also, his assumption about my situation was completely wrong and I ended up being properly diagnosed by Port Orange ER after leaving Dr McKinley’s “care” three days later. Overall, he made me feel persecuted and uncomfortable and I want to warn others about his poor bedside manner and wrong diagnosis.

As a Doctor, This Doctor is Beyond talented ,and guided by the lord . Dr. McKinley, comes from a father who is also an MD. This man is Excellent, He stepped in Off hours, as he does daily . He saved my LIFE. . THIS IS YOUR DOCTOR !

Dr. McKinley has been my gastro for many years. He is very caring and very thorough! I highly recommend him!

Initial appointment was with his PA who was very thorough and pleasant. I saw Dr. McKinley for less than 5 minutes after my endoscopy. He was rude and dismissive. Told me I would have to come back in a week or two and have the procedure done again due to no fault of mine. My nurse daughter was with me and was appalled by his behavior. Never heard from his office on a follow up or even to check how I was doing. The 20 minute procedure was costly, even with insurance and meeting my deductible, and from his comments and dismissiveness, I am left to wonder what exactly he did. I won't ever go back to him.

Two weeks prior, I made an appointment for Tuesday @ 8:30 am. Was told the office is located at 3 PineCone Dr. Got an Uber, shoes up at 8:30 only to find the office dark and locked up?! I then called the office and a woman answered and told me the pinecone office is closed Tuesday and I need to come to the hospital. I don’t have a lot of faith in a doctors office that can’t even give you the right location for your appointment. Disgusted
