Dr. Joseph Lutt, MD

Dr. Lutt isn't interested in finding a diagnosis; rather dismissive even when other docs are quite clear about my diagnosis. dismissive without even an exam or a full work up. go elsewhere.

I went to see Dr. Lutt because my primary said I needed to be checked out by a rheumatologist. Dr. Lutt kept telling me that my symptoms were weird. I'm diagnosed now by another doctor, and I have learned that my symptoms weren't weird at all. I do not recommend Dr. Lutt.

Don’t trust Dr. Lutt if you have an uncommon disease or anything slightly complicated. He made me feel bad for reaching out to him for a very serious set of symptoms. He stayed right in line with his colleagues. My complaints of obviously terrible pain and debilitation fell to deaf ears. A few symptoms he simply unsympathetically gaslighted as normal for me. He wasted my time and hurt my confidence in the medical community by giving me false hope that I did not have a treatable disorder. His lack of an accurate diagnosis and lack of thoroughness caused me great suffering while I accumulated irreversible damage. He should try better for patients seeking care for rheumatological disorders - this is his duty as a medical professional, and he has miserably failed me.

A very attentive listener who obviously cares about his patients. As a physician myself I am in a position to say that he really knows his stuff.

I was a patient of Dr Lutt. He misdiagnosed me and gave up on my care. That misdiagnoses kept showing up on my medical records. Once I was accurately diagnosed, my medical records were finally corrected. I suffered for years because of a misdiagnoses.

Missed my AS diagnosis and misdiagnosed me with fibromyalgia. Gave up on treatment extremely quickly - told me there was nothing we could do way before that was true. I left his office multiple times feeling suicidal and gaslit. Thankfully I found a different rheumatologist as well as a doctor who is willing to help me manage my pain safely. I am on immune suppressants and doing much better. If your illness won't show up on basic lab tests, stay away.

The staff and Dr Lutt are wonderful I would highly recommend.

I have a series of very complex autoimmune diagnoses that began with rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Lutt has been wonderful in dealing with each new problem as it arises, working with my other specialists to get bloodwork, hypotheses and answers as quickly as possible. I feel that he really listens and cares about what I have to say.

Dr Lutt has been managing my Rhematoid Arthritis over the past 4 years since I moved from Reno, NV. I would say Dr Lutt is really knowledgeable in his expertise. I do not recommend Dr. Lutt. He does not do well with complicated problems and gives up on the care. He does not do physical exams.

I am no longer happy with Dr. Lutt. He seems to be less interested in helping me each time I see him. I'd like to going rheumatologists.

Nothing about my dual diagnosis is textbook, Dr. Lutt is a great partner in managing my diseases.

In addition to his knowledge and expertise, Dr. Lutt listens well and is very personable. His staff excels in courtesy and responsiveness. The doctor's medical assistant, Christina, has always been attentive and caring, including her persistence to get hold of me when consistently getting my voice mails! The person responsible for medical records, Sandra, was very prompt to respond when I needed records very quickly. The receptionists have been courteous. A highly recommended doctor and team!
