Dr Lowry never introduced himself to me, a new patient referred from the Fairview Hospital ER. His immediate reaction was to recommend returning to the ER, that he could do nothing for me. He performed a cursory 5 minute examination, moving my leg and briefly probing my hip with his finger. No review of hip history or previous treatment. No review of my x-ray images. Prescribed Percoset painkiller and sent me on my way. Overall, he gave me the impression that my hip injury was a burden to him and not worth his time to deliver quality patient care. I felt humiliated and worse following my visit. I will never return to Orthopedic Associates for care nor recommend your practice. I never realized the high quality of patient care I always receive from Cleveland Clinic facilities until I was sent to your practice based solely on a referral.
