Poor communicator
He seemed interested and asks questions, but after a few minutes I realized he wasn't listening. He then turned condescending and wanted to treat me for symptoms I wasn't having. He needs some refresher courses.

This doctor is not good. He isn’t a good listener, seemed to mock me, but also doesn’t appear to like to be questioned. I don’t trust his clinical skills.

This is the worst so-called doctor that I have ever experiences. My mother and I both decided to use him and we both had terrible experiences. He doesn't listen, is insulting and rude, couldn't diagnose a common cold, and is not good at all. Find someone else

Very poor skilled doctor. There is such a shortage of good doctors in Sioux City but don't choose Dr. Kurth. He is not knowledgable and does not know how to interact with people. Skip.

Yikes. Not a very good doctor. He was not correct in his diagnsis and I got worse with the medicine he gave me. I went to another doctor a week later and was surprised that Dr. Kurth would nave been so bad at his job. Its like he doesnt care. Everyone says how nice he is. Agreed, but he just isn't good.

Completely incompetent. Couldn’t make a decision if he had a 50/50 chance of getting it correct. Demonstrates no clinical investigative skills nor ability to intellectually guide patient care. If it isn’t 100% obvious he may be able to set up an appointment for you to see a specialist. He simply belongs in urgent care! Sounds terribly mean, but he is not a skilled provider and is going to HURT many, many patients if he continues to practice medicine.

I left my prior doctor in search of a new clinic with more caring staff. I found that at Dr. Kurth' office. His nurse is fantastic. He is great, very pleasant to deal with. Listens to your concerns and takes his time. He does tend to refer you to a specialist if he isn't comfortable prescribing or diagnosing something. I can appreciate that. He is a general practitioner, he'd rather his patients get accurate diagnosis and meds than playing roulette with your health.

Does not address issue that you see him for and is too quick to refer to another doctor. He has not give a diagnosis in 5 years as patient. I feel that he is afraid to commit and refers to others to make his decisions.
