A Grateful Patient!
Dr. Hobbs treated my spinal stenosis through surgery. When I arrived in his office, I was not able to walk without assistive devices. My gate was uneven and caused me to have several falls. Dr. Hobbs presented a plan and understood the urgency of my condition. He performed surgery on December 26th. I was standing up straight at my 1st post-operative appointment and I walked into the office without a cane, or a walker! He and his amazing staff provided top-notch care for use on each visit. I am so grateful we have a neurosurgeon of the highest caliber here in San Angelo. Thank you, Dr. Hobbs...the recovery continues!

AMAZING DOCTOR.... VERY THOROUGH AND CARING
WHEN A NEW DOC RIGHT OFF THE BAT IN A 72 YR. OLD PATIENT DOESN'T SUGGEST SURGERY, THAT TO ME IS A VERY POSITIVE SIGN BUT INSTEAD WANTS TO PERHAPS EXPLORE OTHER OPTIONS THAT MIGHT NOT BE QUITE SO INVASIVE...DR. HOBBS IS NOT AFRAID TO EXPLAIN THINGS TO YOU IN A VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD MANNER AND THAT TO ME WAS VERY APPRECIATED...I FELT BOTH SAFE AND COMFORTED IN THAT.... THE APPOINTMENT WAS NOT RUSHED.. HE NOR HIS NURSE WERE CHECKING THIER WATCHES... ANOTHER PLUS!!!!!! HE ASSURED ME HE WANTED TO HELP MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR ME AND I TRULY BELIEVE HE WILL....IT MAY TAKE TIME, PATIENCE AND PAIN, BUT I'VE ALREADY INDURED ALLOT SO TO ME, FROM HERE ON OUT, THE ONLY WAY IS UP.. THANK YOU TO HIM AND HIS AMAZING STAFF... THIS WAS A REFERRAL BY DR. CHRISTOPHER HADDAD AND IT WAS WELL EARNED AND I DO APPRECIATE IT.....

BEST DOCTOR EVER
Dr. Hobbs was more than professional when I went to my appointment. He took the time to explain and address all of my concerns. He was more than happy to reassure me and truly cared about my health. He never once made an inappropriate comment about my weight, but instead explained the importance of keeping my core strength. He provided home exercises to help me until I could get in with Physical Therapy. He has been a life saver for me and my back!! 20/10 recommend him EVERY TIME!!!!!

Unprofessional. RUDE to elderly patients.
My grandmother has bad hips and a bad back. This woman like many others are the backbone of our country and now that they have gotten older and it’s harder for them to get around, it seems this generation has decided they’re not worth their time and treats them very badly. My grandmother worked for the school district and retired from there. She worked hard long hours feeding and serving kids. My grandfather worked for the city of odessa and retired from there as well. These people help build this country. My grandmother started having problems with her liver and ended up on a medication that caused weight gain. Dr. Joseph Hobbs at 120 E Beauregard Ave is an orthopedic surgeon that my grandfather had seen a few times. My grandmother went to him and when he seen her he stood there and before even assessing her told her “you’re too fat. I can’t help you”. HIS WORDS and watched her try to keep her balance while she left his office feeing pretty down and in tears. This is uncalled for!
