1. He takes the time to listen, and is very good at explaining procedures and possible outcomes. 2. I had no post operative issues and surprisingly minimal discomfort following the mastectomy ; Dr. Heyne knows what he is doing, and he’s very very good at it!

Dr. Heyne was an excellent surgeon. His bedside manner is so comforting. He spent 3 hours with us in the initial appointment. I would not trust anyone else to do my surgery. The office is very friendly also. I would highly recommend Dr. Heyne.

Dr. Heyne performed my mastectomy about 20 months ago and I have regular office visits/check-ups. He is a very professional doctor who has kept me advised on every aspect of my treatment. His office staff members are friendly, efficient and extremely kind. Dr. Heyne has a very comforting manner and is always up to date on my information before he comes into the room. He was especially thorough in explaining options and possible scenarios for my surgery. He is a great breast/lymph nodes surgeon and I would recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Heyne communicated well with me as well as my oncologist. He took the time to answer all of my questions and those of my family. He discussed the procedure in detail, noted my concerns about medications and pain management post surgery, and was forthcoming about the expected outcome results. As a side note my incision scar is beautiful and straight. I would recommend him to anyone needing a compassionate and experienced surgeon.

Dr. Heyne saw me within one day of finding out that my breast biopsy showed cancer. He asked about my life and work. He took 3 hours to explain, in ordinary language, treatments & further tests. He called me himself, even after 5 on a Fri. to give me test results earlier than expected & to make plans. His staff was very kind, thoughtful & professional, making appointments for me with other doctors & services. My surgery went very well & the results are nice looking. He examined all options.

Dr. Heyne may be very knowledgeable, but his bedside manner is terrible!!! He totally went to worse case before all testing was complete. I would never recommend him.
