Dr. Joseph Hanson, DO

Definitely a good doc. Recommend him!

I was quite depressed after my recent divorce. This is when I decided to see Dr. Joseph Hanson. He is a very good doctor. He listed to me patiently and understood what I was going through. He helped me understand my emotions better and how they were impacting me. He then suggested a course to deal with my emotions and rebuild my life. What I like about him is that he listens to his patients then offers suggestions that are practical for their situation. This is a rare talent to find in doctors.

A friend of mine recommended I contact Dr. Hanson when I lost my business because of coronavirus. I was living on the other coast from Dr. Hanson but he was open to scheduling a session with me over Skype. He really helped me handle my stress and loss of business. It was already a lot that we were going through this pandemic and on top of that losing your business with no hope of going out and rebuilding it seems like end of world. He listened to me attentively and gave me a plan to handle my stress and even showed me a way to rebuild my business that I would not have seen on my own. All of this was accomplished over a few sessions on Skype. I feel like Dr. Hanson was the God’s helping hand for me. I highly recommend him as a doctor. I firmly believe that he has been blessed with super power to help people. Feel lucky to have found him.

I like Dr. Hanson because he is not big on prescribing medication. He only recommends the essential as opposed to other doctors who want to turn you into a zombie. I took my 14 year old daughter who was struggling from anxiety. I felt she was over medicated. Dr. Hanson took her off half the medications and suggested an alternate course of treatment. She is feeling much better, is handling her anxiety quite well. Dr. Hanson is a rarity which is unfortunate because I feel this is how doctors should be.

1. Dr. Hanson is one of the best psychiatrists you can come across. All my life I have been dealing with mental issues. I have seen various psychologists and psychiatrists before but did not get much help. Joe was able to see what I was going through in our very first appointment. I could tell right away that he understood what I was really going through. He suggested a treatment and 2 months into his treatment I can say that I have never felt this good in last 41 years of my life. I feel happy, excited, motivate, optimist and full of energy. I cannot recommend Dr. Hanson enough. Thank you Dr. Hanson, I am eternally grateful!

Amazing Doctor! Knowledgeable, and takes the time to listen carefully to my questions and concerns. He was very honest and upfront. Also felt like he understand and respected me.

Dr. Hanson, is a great doctor. His strongest attribute is his personality. He treats me for ADHD, and I was VERY impressed with his knowledge of the disorder. He has it better managed than it ever has been before. Thank you, Dr Hanson!!!
