Wonderful Doctor
I brought my father into the ER after a consult appt w/ Dr. Paladugu's office. Dr. Guinn was actually the on call doctor since Dr. Paladugu was out of the country. We were all a little nervous about that but now we're all very relieved and blessed that it happened this way. I'm sure Dr. Paladugu is great but Dr. Guinn was amazing. He was able to get the surgery in the SAME DAY. He was very caring, thorough and straight forward throughout the whole process. He was very reassuring and even drew a diagram and explain the surgery on a blanket for us until we fully understood. My father was very pleased with Dr. Guinn's care and is very grateful to have been and hope to continue to be his patient.

No doubt Dr Guinn saved my life. He happened to be the surgeon on call when I went into emergency room and found out I had Stage IV Metastatic Colon Cancer and an abscess about 15 cams long that had to be cleared before Dr Guinn could remove the cancerous colon portion. After about 8 days of excruciating pain the abscess was able to be drained and surgery was done. Over the next 3 years I returned for 3 additional needed surgeries by Dr Guinn. He is a great surgeon, gives you the straight truth which I prefer and answers questions and addresses concerns. He is my life saver. No doubt about it.

This is a follow up after the previous post. After taking my mother to this Dr., I wanted to add my frustrations. He never got up out of the stool he was setting on to even examine my mothers foot ( good 5 ft. or so) and recorded no sign of gangrene. Spent more time saying "go to sleep, go to sleep" with that stupid recorder. Wrong my mother had surgery to remove digits on left foot a coupe weeks later. If he cant see this why would anyone let this man operate on you or your family? Office manager refuses to respond to this matter. Very scary place! Would give minus stars.

He’s seen 3 of my family members and 2 of them required surgical procedures. He is honest and VERY direct. He usually runs a bit behind but that is because he takes the time to listen to his patient’s concerns or issues. Absolutely a fantastic doctor that I HIGHLY recommend, because if you go to him it isn’t going to be a bunch of unnecessary tests and visits. He will only do the test(s) that he feels are necessary.

I found 3 toes on my left foot had turned blue and my left foot was swollen. My primary care Dr. orders a test, the results showed a mild blockage. I found Dr. Guinn, by the time I saw him the circulation returned along with the color of the toes but I still wanted to be evaluated. Dr. Guinn read the test report the family history or risk factors as he dismissed everything as a fluke and a incompetence tech who perform the test. I was Impressed with him. He should have looked further

Dr. Guinn communicated with us better than any doctor I've ever seen. He took time to explain my mother's condition and treatment options clearly and effectively. He cordially welcomed questions and considered information we brought. Due to my mother's advanced age, he tried to treat conservatively. When it became clear more was needed, he told us confidently and clearly what we needed to do, and then had her in surgery within the hour. Aftercare was thorough and caring.
