Dr. Fortin helped me a great deal with my back pains. Before I went to Dr. Fortin I ached at the end of the day no matter what I did on that day. After having stem cell replacement my back began to feel like it did ten years earlier. I can honestly say that Dr. Fortin and the stem cell replacement changed my life in a positive way. Thank you Dr. Fortin and his courteous staff for making my days much more pleasurable and free of horrifying pain.

When I first came to STAR, I was concerned that my daily lifestyle and hobbies were being taken away due to pain and mobility issues with my knee. I was told by traditional medicine that my knee needed replaced but I was too young and/or would need multiple replacements in my lifetime. The idea of waiting until I could not walk to have it replaced seemed bleak. I was referred to STAR and I began having hope of continuing my lifestyle again. I had the Stem Cell Therapy and PRP beginning in March 2019. I am happy to report that I have returned to gardening, hiking, and swimming but most importantly walking without pain! Helping your body to heal itself makes perfect sense! I would highly recommend STAR, Dr. Fortin, the staff, and regenerative medicine.

Dr. Fortin and his team if experienced, educated, kindly, compassionate, intelligent, self motivated employees are the best when it came to my back pain. He looked at my xrays zeroed in on my health problem and fixed it with his staff in no time flat. You must however follow his directions to the lettet. I had been living in back and hip and leg pain for over 4 years with no successful treatment. If i ever need help again, this remarkable dr and his staff is who i will retun too!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Star, Dr. Fortin and his staff. I struggled with shoulder/rotator cuff for years. The very good ortho Docs always recommended an invasive surgery with long and painful recovery. Dr. Fortin and his staff provided patient and through review and options, explained the costs, risks and chance for success. I completed the procedure and rehab and am golfing again for the the first time 2 years. Cost, although not covered by insurance, were a fraction of the what the surgical costs would have been. This is a top rate professional operation that cares about its patients and has a history of successfully treatment. The major hospitals, insurance and everyone else should get on board and make this available to everyone. If you are struggling with pain you should consult with Dr. Fortin and his staff before making any decisions about surgery. Star is not 5 stars they are 10 stars.

DISAPPOINTED. Star is VERY financially motivated. I m guessing the staff is on commission. They thoroughly X-rayed my wallet and extracted everything they could. Procedure sounded urgent and told me I was in dire condition. Apparently not dire enough to help me get a handicap permit; only dire enough to milk me for insurance benefits and money.

Dr. Fortin took a lot of time (seriously) to ask questions and to listen to my description of symptoms. He was careful, thorough and kind. His physical exam included discussion of what he perceived. He used results from MRI and X-ray tests to further his diagnosis. I especially appreciated that he took time to explain the findings and discuss the care plan. Very professional, kind and attentive, His staff are on top of their jobs and are always congenial. It is a well run practice.

I've had back pain for 12yrs and major surgery I'm not sure I needed. My amazing chiropractor, Dr. Caleb Suciu referred me to Dr. Fortin. Together, they found things the surgeons missed for an extreme fraction of the price. Highly recommended!!

I have had several procedures with Dr. Fortin. What I appreciate most is the time and care taken to first identify the real problem. The Orthopedist moved immediately toward recommending joint replacement. Thankfully, Dr. Fortin did not "drink the Kool-Aide" the rest of the doctors have and recommended conservative stem cell treatment. I, and all of the patients I have referred to his office, have been very pleased with their caring attitude and successful treatment. If you know anything about the risks of surgery; you will fully appreciate the natural philosophy of Dr. Fortin.
