Dr. Joseph Deblasio Sr, MD

Dr. DeBlasio has been attentive and kind whenever I see him for an ailment. I feel seen as an individual and not just some passing patient.

I would not recommend this doctor if you are chronically ill or LGBTQ.. I saw him in hopes that he could help me with what I suspected was a chronic illness (or two) and become my new primary doctor. At both visits I had with him he was very dismissive of the idea that I was chronically ill, he believed my symptoms were a result of stress & anxiety from an unrelated gender transition - in such a way that I would liken it to medical gaslighting. I eventually saw a different doctor, who upon actually listening to me and observing my very obvious symptoms - immediately gave me a working diagnoses of the very chronic illness I suspected. I am now diagnosed with 2 illnesses that could have been treated months earlier, if this doctor had not dismissed my symptoms as anxiety.

Doctor DeBlasio is a competent and caring practitioner who is well versed in medical care. He always has the time to answer questions and spends the time necessary to make the patient feel comfortable. Dr deBlasio is a credit to the profession and maintains an office ion Hamilton Square, NJ where he is ready willing and able to tend to your medical needs.

b/c I didn't have cash &/or chck for my 30 copay the receptionist actually asked me to leave and go get it. I left and won't return. Already made an appt w/a new dr. It's highly unfortunate because Dr. DeBlasio is a really nice doctor who has always been accessible I think even answering his cell phone once when I called. But with busy schedules as all of us have I just can't be leaving appointments driving around looking for an ATM & paying fees. They need 2 mention no cards when u make ur appt

I just left this practice because of lack of communication, misdiagnosis, no return phone call, etc. Staff did their best under the circumstances but mostly no one knows whats going on half the time. Nurse Practitioner needs to listen to patient and treat each patient different. I needed antibiotics and pleaded with the staff for two days after visit and was denied meds by both Dr. DeBlasio and Yvonne both. I was seen by a different practice and had bronchitis that went untreated.
