Dr. Joseph Ciampoli, DPM

Dr Ciampoli has saved my feet from 3 bone infections along with multiple other injuries and infections. I have type 1 diabetes and neuropathy. I have been blessed to have Dr Caimpoli as my doctor. He always takes any issue I have seriously and with the Best care. His staff is amazing and they have literally saved me from losing parts of my feet. I highly recommend Dr Ciampoli for all podiatry issues. We need to walk, & continue to be healthy!

I am adding further praise to my comment (Healthgrades.com) from three months ago about the superb health care I received in Newark, DE from Dr. Joseph Ciampoli. At the time I had not realized that Dr. Ciampoli's outstanding reputation at this large inpatient hospital allowed him to squeeze his surgical repair of my infected foot (cellulitis) into an otherwise completely booked Friday night OR schedule. Although I had only previously met Dr. Ciampoli in the ER that morning, he has since provided excellent follow-up by seeing me biweekly in his office until he saw that my open wound was successfully healed. In his efficient manner he treats patients with understanding and thorough continuity of care. Now, after his skillful operation and medical treatment, I even can comfortably wear open-toe sandals.

Seen on time, staff friendly and efficient. Dr Ciampoli doesn’t make you feel rushed, answers questions and makes you comfortable. n

My surgery for bunion removal and hammertoe required a second surgery a year later. The hammertoe hardware was floating on top of the toe, leaving it numb and with a strange bump that never quite healed. At the third follow-up, the X-ray machine was not working and I was told my numbness was to be expected. I didn’t know how outdated the X-ray machine was until I visited another office where my foot was x-rayed from several angles. Another podiatrist corrected the earlier surgery. That doctor used a dissolving pin to correct the hammertoe after removing the hardware from the first surgery. My toe finally healed properly. Sadly, it’s still numb. I wish I had gotten a second opinion before getting the first surgery. I will never make that mistake again.

Never any waiting. Pleasant staff especially Myra and Dr Ciampoli’s dry sense of humor all make for a anxiety free visit. ????

I had to have an procedure done on my toe and I must say that Dr.Ciampoli was such a great doctor. At his office, he had very friendly staff memebers and he was very friendly himself. He described my condition and answered any questions I had thoroughly. You cannot even tell that I ever had a procedure done because of how perfectly the wound healed! I highly recommend this doctor!

Dr. Ciampoli is the best doctor I have ever seen. He did surgery on my foot in 2013. At that time, he saved my foot from amputation because of Diabetes. He gets the highest marks possible in all categories because he is excellent and is very compassionate. His office is run perfectly and his staff are friendly and cooperative.
