5 stars; excellent
I don’t generally do reviews, however I saw 1 negative review and decided to write 1. I’ve been seeing Dr. Chung for 4 years. Unaware of my condition, I was very ill when I first saw him. He was thorough, listened very well and ordered labs for me immediately. I received a call from him the same day; after business hours informing me of the lab results. I immediately started iron supplements that prevented me from going to the hospital. He often calls after office hours to further give medical instructions. He monitors my health very well. He’s also very personable. Thank you Dr. Chung and the all friendly and thorough nurses, front desk and lab staff.

Dr.Chung is phenomenal. If you want to know what a compassionate and caring family doctor is, make an appointment and spend some time sharing your concerns. You will know that he truly cares about your needs. These days we have access to data and how-to’s to meet our medical needs ; however, Dr.Chung fills in the gap and makes sure that all info is checked and vetted before you dive in.

Phenomenal Doctor!
I have been going to this doctor for over 3 years. He is clear and precise when communicating, takes the time to listen to my questions and/or concerns and never sugar coats anything in an effort to "Get in and Get out to the next patient" He is definitely fundamental to the success of Novant Health and I highly recommend him to everyone I know or even hear talking about finding the right doctor.

Failure to follow up and refer to proper specialists resulted in hospitalization for 6 day for this issue ongoing for 6 months!!
