One of the best doctors out there! I did my research before I picked an neurologist. Dr. Chipman seemed to be nr 1 neurologists in Clt and I cannot express enough how good he is. Very thorough, understanding, and he spends his time with each patient. I have been seeing him quite a few times and I have never felt rushed. Also, he made me feel very well taken care of. He is very knowledgeable and answers the questions in a easy way!

I would never recommend Dr. Chipman! I was referred by Total Spine Specialists for the neurological symptoms I had been experiencing. Dr. Chipman argued with me about the symptoms I was experiencing. He also force-fed me answers during the physical exam. He asked questions such as "does it feel the same on each side?" When I expressed that one side felt differently he would respond with "but mostly the same, right?" After I answered that one side felt different he began force-feeding me answers.

Dr. Chipman asked me with extremely detailed questions. Such as, What makes your symptom worse? and What makes you feel better? He also repeatedly asked me if I have any questions for him. He is capable to categorize patient's multiple and complicate symptoms and give a good diagnosis. Dr. Chipman is a good doctor. The normal appointment waiting time is about 3 months.

My father was a neurologist in the U.S. military, and I always enjoyed hearing about his work. For me, practicing medicine is like detective work. The answers aren't always obvious. I have a passion for helping patients understand their illnesses....read more
