Shoulder surgery
He took his time and answered all questions. He did a lot of repair to my shoulder and never had pain and fully healed with no problems. Having the other one done in a week.

Fantastic Surgeon
Had 2 previous knee arthroscopic surgeries, never had full pain relief. Was told I'd need total knee replacement (I'm only in my 40's!) Saw Dr. Chasewho diagnosed my ACL laxity and meniscal tear. He reconstructed my ACL and did a meniscal repair, and now I'm pain free! Able to play basketball and ski again withot pain.

I would not recommend. Sent to PT after initial evaluation, no x-ray or MRI. Finally had surgery with problems after, horrible experience with PT he likes to refer to. Could not see MD after surgery, only PA. Be prepared to wait hours for appointment, even if your 1st after lunch!! Felt like I wasn’t being heard regarding pain/ decreased movement issues after surgery. Switched PT, with some improvement, but a year later and I’ve never obtained >80% movement in shoulder after surgery.

Sprained ankle 7/17. Saw Chase in Aug as referred by ER. Started PT in Sept. as per his orders. More pain in Oct. and getting worse. Told him something was really wrong and requested MRI. He said wait and work on getting out of boot w/PT. No progress in Nov. and more pain in new places. Again asked for MRI, but told me to wait. Finally referred me to specialist who did immediate MRI. Showed mult. severed ligaments & stress fractures in 4 toes from PT/walking in boot! Needed ankle reconstruction!

I had an appointment scheduled for yesterday for two bad shoulders that have been bothering me and I was hoping to find a way to lessen the pain. I was referred to Dr. Chase. In brief, I waited nearly 2 hours, never saw Dr. Chase, only his assistant, whose qualifications I'm totally unaware of, who looked at my x-rays for 10 seconds and told me there was nothing that could be done. I'm now looking for another orthopedist to get a proper diagnosis. Completely dissatisfied. Couldn't be unhappier.

I had an injury to my shoulder and after over a year of receiving minimum care from the VA, I decided to purchase insurance and utilize a private doctor. Multiple people had recommended Dr. Chase out of Falmouth, so I called for a consultation. Within a month he had me tested and diagnosed. Within about 2 months, I went in for a rather intensive surgery. Now, just over a year later and with the help of Dr. Chase, his staff and Steve from C.O.R.E. (Physical Therapy) in Sandwich, I have full use o

I would definitely recommend Dr. Chase. He listens well and takes your concerns seriously. ( I had seen two previous orthopedist over the years who took no action on my behalf.) The orthopedic surgery he performed on my knee has allowed me to run pain free again and will help my knee function better for a long time to come. Just be advised that he is a man of few words. So don’t expect a lot of flowery conversation. But he is pleasant, efficient, and gets the job done.

Dr. Chase is an amazing physician! He is thorough, great at explaining things, and is very professional. After multiple surgeries with other physicians, I can easily say that I wish I had met him years ago! He would have fixed the problem the first time! He saw the problem that two other surgeons missed! I would send any of my family or friends to him. Cape Cod is lucky to have him!

Dr. Chase has Boston level experience and expertise that he has brought to Cape Cod. He was able to restore my shattered collarbone with techniques that you would usually have to go off Cape to find. He is easy to talk to and takes him time during appointments. I highly recommend him - had a great experience with this doctor. His knowledge of orthopedic procedures is superb.
