Dr. Carey, was very honest and recommended realist options. I went to him for a 2nd option, after having a very complicated abdominal surgery more than a year ago, that still needs follow up. I appreciated his honesty and that he was trying the conservative approach first vs, trying to recommend surgery right away.
I truly appreciated his approach.

Dr. Carey is a life savor ! As a result of breast cancer treatments my breast skin was very affected ,I had 2 breast reconstructions with implants that failed due to my skin problems ..soon after I was left without my breast . I was very fortunate to find Dr. Carey who informed me he could help me my breast reconstruction using my own body tissue. I knew I was in great hands and this was the best decision I EVER MADE ! I am very grateful to Dr. Carey along with the nurses and staff, Thank you!

Dr. Carey and his staff literally saved my life after I suffered a life changing accident. Brock Lanier, Dr. Hagopian and Dr. Carey operated on me for over 13 hours to fix my serious facial injuries and checked on me several times both in the hospital and at home. The care and attention by the incredible staff at USC/Keck was outstanding. God Bless you all.

I found Dr. Carey through my insurance providers website and I'm happy that I did. Dr. Carey removed two very large lipoma, one in my arm and one in my back. He was friendly, very practical and his staff were attentive to my concerns. I would use Dr. Carey again if I needed to and I would recommend him to friends or family. He's a very talented surgeon and a fine doctor.

Words cannot describe the good things about Dr Carey. From consultation day to present reconstructions and check-ups; he is simply amazing. He takes a lot of his time to explain in detail all of my options and what is best for my reconstruction case. He is gentle, very professional and he treats his patients like family without violating patient-doctor relationship. I highly recommend him, especially if you can choose your reconstruction doctor.

Dr, Carey treated me for a recurrent, complex abdominal hernia. I had 4 previous procedures none of them worked. I am 12 days pain free, sleeping comfortably. The scar is amazing. He did a fantastic job and I am very pleased with the outcome. He reconstructed my original ugly scar and I do not see the huge hernia. Previous doctors told me they could not help me. He is truly an amazing surgeon. I highly recommend him. Great surgeon.

I had a liver transplant gone wrong. They needed to redo the surgery several times within the course of a week. Dr. Cary came in last and my surgery scar looks AMAZING! Hardly noticeable even though I had so much trauma to the site. He is THE BEST and made me feel so happy and comfortable. (I call him Dr. McDreamy!) Thank you so much Dr. Carey!

My mother recently went through a combo surgery to remove a very large hernia and abdominal repair. Dr. Carey was her plastic surgeon, and did a wonderful job in reconstructing her abdomen after several previous surgeries. He was amazing! Very patient answering the tons of questions we had, he was caring and very approachable, and provided my mother with unparalleled care. The hospital staff was also out of this world!

I was referred to Dr. Carey for a complex abdominal surgery, secondary to two previous
surgeries.The surgeon with whom I had a long, close, & complex history felt the surgery needed was beyond his scope. I was very reluctant to be referred to a large tertiary hospital and to a surgeon with whom I was unfamiliar, fearing the care would be so clinical, cold, & without the usual friendliness.
Boy, was I wrong! Dr Carey is skilled, caring, accessible, friendly. Top class surgeon & man!
