He will not admit he stole a year and half of my life.

Short story. Doctor Joseph Billings did the entire replacement of the existing replaced knee wrong 11-5-24. The hospital he is affiliated with was never prepared for the type of revision surgery he did for me. Left me wheelchair bound.The incorrect install caused the knee cap to move out of place. He did not take xrays at the end to be sure all is well.We were referred to Dr Brian Palumbo in the Tampa area who is known to fix Dr. Billings errors. His hospital affiliation is large and equipped to accommodate my very, very difficult revision #2. Recovery will be long. Looking at April 2025 maybe. Revision surgery #2 1-30-25, Can't have surgery soon as risk of infection arises. Will have leg in brace for multiple months and using wheelchair. Just out of brace and wheelchair 3-27. Proceed with this doctor Joseph Billings at your own risk. There are many others like me with incorrect surgeries

Dr. Billings performed arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder. He explained everything and was very kind. I am so happy to have found Dr. Billings and would highly recommend him to anyone needing an orthopedic surgeon.

Efficient, professional setting from check in to technicians.Dr. Billings listened to me and gave me confidence that he understood my condition and knew that I was on the way healing my condition without any intervention.

Dr. Billings suggested he could do surgery on my shoulder to remove bone spurs, and to take care of a small rotator cuff tear. I wanted to wait as I currently need some hand surgery. He indicated that I could return for a cortisone injection, if the pain increased. I have seen Dr. Bilings in the past, and at that time I chose to do some physical therapy. That seemed to help. He explained that the muscles around the shoulder need to be strong. I have contineud doing some physical therapy at home. The building next door where I had my PT,provided me with a sheet of the exercies, and photos. Dr. Billings said it was a good idea to do those exercies 3 times a week. I will continue to build strength in my shoulders before having surgery.

The entire practice is unresponsive. They don't return calls. Surgery was canceled twice. Dr Billings didn't give various options to treat my issue and just jumped at a chance to do another surgery, then cancels.

Person answering main line was terrible! I’m 57 could barely hear her, bad head set… spoke fast. Ck in good. Love xray in house, MRI would b amazing! Dr Billings was ok. Facility very nice! Ck out girl for Billings not pleasant in person or on phone. She didn’t instruct on when/how to make appt after MRI was sch & when I called to get appt was rude. We have to sign paper to be kind as a patient, workers should to. Seems the process of having to schedule 3 -4 weeks out for MRI and then another 4 weeks to see Dr again is not serving patients best interest.

Dr Billings is great. Attentive, knowledgeable, and caring. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Billings bedside manner is wonderful, he makes you feel human and confident that he is there to help you in any way to feel better. He did both rotator cuffs and now working on my knees. I would for sure go to him and his office for any needs..

Dr Billings thoroughly reviewed my MRI with me and pointed out issues. He explained my options and set up my procedure and follow up appointment.

Dr. Billings came across very well, dressed in n casual wear made you feel comfortable in a doctor's office and not so much in a doctor's atmosphere

The appointment was on time. Dr. Billings was attentive and answered my questions without being in a rush to leave. He explained my situation from a medical standpoint.

Dr. Billings and his staff where very caring and helpful with my condition with pain.

I had an appointment to go in to see Dr. Billings. I fell and broke my left shoulder. After he checked it he said it was healing very good but I needed therapy,. He listened to every concern that I had. He answered all of my questions. I highly recommend him to other patients. Dr. Billings is a very good doctor.

I saw Dr. Billings to followup on an MRI of my knee. Using the MRI he explained the results clearly, discussed the alternative treatments for my knee problems, and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. He and his staff were professional in every respect.

I was seen by Dr. Billings January 13th at Brownwood Medical Center, the Villages, Fl. He reviewed my CD, was very polite and informed me of the best path forward. I met with his nurse at check out (Denise) and she informed me to call her in two weeks if I did not hear from her. I did not hear from her so I called, no return call. I called again a week later, no return call. I called my insurance company to see if there had been anyone from Dr. Billings office seeking approval for surgery, they had not. I called and left another message, no response. I called one more time and asked if the doctor was too busy, or it would be a while before he could proceed, please let me know so I could seek out another doctor. They have not returned my call. I am sure Dr. Billings has no idea his staff isn't returning calls because he is so busy but ignoring a new patient is not only unprofessional it's insulting. It is February 21st, still no call.
