Very rude staff
Very rude receptionist and office manager, Holly. Will cancel your appointment for surgery that's over a month away because you haven't been medically cleared then dismiss you as a patient when you get upset about that! Find another provider until they hire better staff!

Best sergeon ever!
Dr. Bannon is the most experienced, the most caring, the best sergeon in NE Pennsylvania. I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism and the compassionate way he guided me through the entire process. He has truly made a life-changing difference, and I’m so grateful to have had him as my surgeon.I was especially impressed by his follow-up call two weeks after the surgery to check on how I was doing and to make sure my recovery was going well. This phone call was a week after the follow-up visit in his office.

I have been a patient of Dr Bannon’s for over 7 years. His professionalism, knowledge and bedside manner are a testament of how great of a doctor he is. If I can give him 10 stars, I would.

Mother had surgical consult. He wanted to talk to her other doctors before deciding whether or not to proceed w/ surgery. Said “right after Easter I’ll be back in touch.” Waited a month after Easter & called to see what’s up. No answers. Called 3 TIMES since & get told someone will call back, including supposedly his “right hand (wo)man” declaring she PERSONALLY would call back w/ information. We STILL haven’t heard from ANYONE. Shame on him leaving 83 yr old ill woman wondering what happened.

Dr. Bannon was an excellent surgeon! He took the time to explain the procedure and really made sure it was what's best for me. He even went as far as calling other GI doctors and making sure they all agreed that this was the best decision. He's made personal phone calls to my family to explain the process and where to go next. I trusted his opinions and decisions 100%. Highly recommend.

I was completely at ease with his knowledge and patient manner. His explanations and experience made me feel comfortable before and after my procedures, He is a gentle, kind professional who made me and my family know that we had made the right choice. He spent a great deal of time reviewing my previous reports and procedures, with other doctors, and reassured me of their due-diligence in the handling of my surgeries. I am thankful and appreciative of Dr. Bannon and his services. Artie B.
