Rudest doctor I’ve been to
Dr. Baker does not care to listen to personal thoughts about what your problem could be or treatment options. Me and my daughter started coming here a few years ago and I have finally decided it would be better to just start over that continue to see him. He is very rude during office visits and always in a rush to end the visit. We have gotten no answers for a condition that is supposed to be taken seriously and he doesn’t explain anything he orders. He diagnosed my daughter with PTSD without any mention of a psych evaluation or what this means for her going forward. Very un pleased all around and I would never recommend this doctor to ANYONE

Dr Baker himself is a great doctor. He follows up, asks questions, is engaged, etc. Harbin's billing office, and his billing staff, however... I may need a new PCP. It's taken me four months of calling, leaving voicemails, stopping by in person, and sending patient portal messages to have a claim corrected for my simple annual physical. I was lied to, put off, and treated rudely and sent to collections by the Harbin billing staff even though THEY hadn't hadn't heard back from Dr Baker's staff.

Aside from being my PCP, Dr. Baker was part of the team of Harbin doctors that potentially saved my life after a pulmonary embolism in 2016. He was responsive to my daily calls and concerns in the immediate days following the PE and treated my concerns with actions to ensure proper recovery, which ended in a very important surgery to improve my quality of life. Even in post-recovery, he is still actively trying to help me figure out where the PE came from.

My husband and I both go to Dr Baker. My husband has several issues, and since we moved he has tried several different doctors, trying to find someone close by. However, after 5 years, we are still with Dr Baker. He is compassionate, listens to his patients, and informs them what he think is best, but is willing to listen to other ideas as well. So we still go to Dr Baker, even though it is over an hour drive, and we have doctors offices within 5 min of our house!
