Dr. Josefina Guerrero, MD

I was so very impressed with dr Guerrero. She spent time with me explaining a test result that was alarming to me. I was very appreciative of her time and advice.

This doctor is rude, interrupting, and does not care to listen. If she would care to listen, she would not have to ask questions twice. She made our family feel like we did the wrong thing for actually being patients. Worst experience at EMC Urgent Care ever. If I see her when I return to this place I will leave and go elsewhere.

I suffered the loss of skin down to bare raw flesh on my arm & leg in a fall on a gravel path. I sought emergency care at the Eisenhower Urgent care facility at 72780 Country Club Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. within 15-minutes after the fall. I was seen by Dr. Josefina Guerrero, MD. She LOOKED at the wounds but rendered NO TREATMENT telling me only to keep the wounds covered and not get them wet. She instructed a nurse to apply bandages to the raw wounds and DID NOT direct the nurse to cleanse the wounds. Fortunately, I was seen 2-days later by my internist for an unrelated matter. She removed the bandages and cut away the dead skin which had peeled off. She spent 40 minutes cleaning the wounds and using tweezers to remove the gravel that had embedded into the flesh which had already become infected. I was given injections & a prescription for antibiotics to thwart further infection and possibly gangrene. My dog gets better care from her veterinarian!
