Pésimo doctor Para nada lo recomiendo

I am a physician and needed emergency back surgery and I chose Dr Valerio because of known previous results from patients that I had referred to him. Sure enough my opinion of him was correct! He resolved my problem after he operated and I can't be more appreciative, I will not hesitate to continue to recommend him, he is experienced, honest, and technically an excellent surgeon.

Very professional doctor with excellent staff

I had complex spinal surgery with Dr Valerio several weeks ago and am thrilled with the results. I am free of the terrible pain. I highly recommend this excellent surgeon .

His hands flirt with divinity My name is Hugo Mendoza. I have been a general surgeon for over 30 years and recently I have been operated on a Glioblastoma by Dr. Jose Valerio. As a surgeon I have no words to thank what this great scientist is doing for me. Neurologically intact despite an operation of 4 hours and a half with tumor resection. All my senses work perfectly. absolute precision abilities that only those who have been touched with the gift that touches perfection are able to have. It has a magnificent team of collaborators and mastery of the best and latest advanced neuroscience techniques. Dr Valerio was a pleasure to meet however the complete opposite is to say about his nurse practitioner. She has NO manners, does not know how to deal with patients, lies by calling herself a "doctor" , and she rudely told me in front of everyone to not even think of being seeing there again until I lose 100 pounds and if I can't do it by diet to go get a gastric bypass. Has jo compassion nor respect for patients. Took 5 weeks to get appt.

I gave Dr Valerio 1 Star. but to be fair I have never met Dr. Valerio. I began with a nurse practitioner asking questions and as I did not trust her knowledge I said "I would rather wait for the doc. to tell him in person about my health issues". I was shocked when the N.P replied: "You won't see doc. today, you have to schedule another appt." I replied: On the phone, when scheduling nobody told me that, otherwise I would never come. I will complain to my insurance. Waste of time and money!

I wanted to share my experience; I have been in pain for several weeks, I went to The Miami Neuroscience, schedule an appointment with Dr Valerio, who is part of a group. On appointment date, I never see the doctor, all check and study orders [such as MRI, X-Ray, etc] was done by the nurse. I mentioned them that I was in pain but they seems do not care about it. They do the MRI so they told me that they will submit the request to my insurance for an authorization. After 2 weeks waiting, I decide

After having gone thru 3 spine surgeries earlier, and the last two not offering any relief, I decided to see Dr. Valerio for a second opinion. Really was glad that I did, he diagnosed me correctly with Sacro-Iliac joint disease which mimics lower back pain, but with hip pain. Looking forward to my surgery, to change my quality of life. He is a professional, competent and caring doctor. Nice locale near Sunset dr., offers free parking in front.

Es un excelente doctor!!!. Soy su paciente desde el 2015, y los diagnosticos y tratamientos que me ha realizado han mejorado un 100% mi calidad de vida. Te habla con claridad y te explica todas las dudas que tengas. Es la mejor recomendacion que me pudo hacer mi doctor primario. Todo el staff ha sido muy amable y me han ayudado a resolver cualquier inconveniente que he tenido.

Staff and doctor is unorganized. Staff don't review patient's history before knowing the type of test to schedule. Doctor only wants to insert devices in your body, never suggest gamma knife to shrink tumor. I've had 1 gamma knife treatment 2 years ago. Never rescheduled me to keep an eye on my brain. Everytime I call, he never calls back. Worst experience ever. He doesn't educate you on your condition or shows interest in helping

Good luck, office is completely disorganized and schedule appointments then forget. Maybe s good doctor but the frustration is not worth it.

Excellent doctor, treats each patient in detail with excellent diagnostic skills. Excellent surgical ability. The only draw back is the wait time during the visits. As he spends time with the patient and it tends fall behind. As much as the long wait time, his care is excellent.
