I've had chronic back pain for 20 years, suffering from an injury in the Marine Corps. The VA won't help and Dr. Torres and his staff are amazing. He's the best pain doc I know of. He'll do anything for you as long as you follow the rules. Most importantly he listens and cares and doesn't judge you right away. I've been with him 2 years as a patient and I'm glad I found him.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. They were called by my insurance company and said they can take me as a customer. My dr referred me, they said my x-rays don't show anything and they can't help me with a steroid injection. So we fought tooth and nail to get approved for an MRI which shows i have a ruptured disc in my back and it costs me $350 to get this. So we get the proof with an MRI and then this Dr all of a sudden cant take new patients ????

I became a patient of Dr. Torres' back many years ago when he was still a part of another group. He quickly found what was wrong with me and started treatment immediately upon finding. Took other docs years to try to figure it out but they were looking in the wrong places. I can honestly say that Dr. Torres saved me from a life of suffering. As long as you comply with what is required of pain management patients you should have absolutely no issues with him. #1 in my opinion!

I have been a patient of Dr. Torres for about 10 years now. Dr. Torres and the staff are like family to me. Before I became a patient of Dr. Torres, I was a patient of another pain management, who constantly tried to prescribe me medication I did not want. After my first appointment with Dr. Torres I knew I found a GOOD doctor

I was seeing doctor fortress for about 8 years loved going to him. I was in a car accident so I went to my family doctor and didn't get any meds cause I got them from doctor fortress and he basically refused to see me anymore because I didn't go see him first. I tried everything to go see him again and was refused.

Dr. Torres and his nurse, tell their patients that they have to have injections whether they want them or not. He does not provide any information on what he will be doing, what he is injecting into you, COST of or the dangers of getting the procedure! He told me , "It was my own special concoction" that I gave you.!! What does that mean? Whether your medication is as needed or not, it better be in your system when they drug test you or your new name will be GONE! Be ready for long wait hrs

Would love to leave a review of seeing the doctor but apparently they do not know how to read x-ray's off a disc they need films. It's 2017 who does not have a computer that reads a disc. They have a referral from my orthopedic specialist with my history. Just don't get why they need the film's when he would have the disc to look at.

I saw Dr Torres for over 5 yrs and they always come up with reasons to refuse service to me. They say they told me I had 30 days to get xrays, however,it as the first time I was EVER told that. I wouldn't go ck to Dr Torres if you paid e a million dollars a visit. They CLAIMED to be my friend. If that's what they call friendship,I don't want any. And the front people, carrie and rick would it there and make up of the patients in the waiting room. Carrie was rude to me since I started going to him!
