Dr. Jose Moreno Chiriboga, MD

I was in the ER in intense pain and this doctor walked up to me with a complete ego. Saying I was there three days before and I was not. This guy was trying to make another problem out of nothing. Rude and ignorant for no reason, But he sat down and tried to be personable with me, saying he was trying to help me when he was just trying to get information out of me. And then he tries to be real with you telling you he works at Lowe’s before he was a doctor. He put a bunch of stuff in my notes that was not necessary to this problem. I went in there with back pain and he had to write down a whole bunch of other stuff that made no sense about my past. you can tell he’s the type of doctor that would’ve chased ambulances for work. And you can tell by two other two other review reviews saying that this guy Should not be practicing medicine by any means. He gives doctors a bad name all over a Massachusetts. A disgrace to the board of health.

Dr. Moreno Chiriboga was my physician at Winchester Hospital. Dr. Moreno Chiriboga quickly dismissed all of my symptoms as psychiatric without gathering any psychiatric history in his assessment. He has terrible bedside manner and does not care to listen to his patients once he has formed his opinion. Dr. Moreno Chiriboga prolonged my hospitalization until his physician colleague disagreed with his assessment and discharged me. Shortly after discharge, I was diagnosed by a different hospital and treated with extensive surgery to successfully alleviate all of the symptoms I was experiencing which Dr. Moreno Chiriboga thought was a psychiatric illness. I highly advise requesting a different provider if you or your loved ones encounter him at Winchester Hospital. Not only did Dr. Moreno Chiriboga jeopardize my health, he made me doubt my own symptoms that were causing me unbearable pain. Dr. Moreno Chiriboga directly prolonged and added to my pain and suffering.

I encountered this physician in the ER of Lowell General Hospital. He was sitting behind the desk and when I asked him if I could get some help for my husband, he flashed his badge and stated "I am a doctor"! He later made an attempt to apologize but refused to look me in the eye and dismissed me as if I was beneath his status. I was utterly shocked and appalled at his attitude, and have reported him to the patient advocacy office at the hospital. I would not recommend him to anyone, ever.
