Awful visit
Terrible. Horrible bedside manner. Talked about random things that were unrelated to why I was there. Did not listen, did not seem to care what I had to say. 2 minutes in, said do you want to die? Umm, clearly no.

Horrible. Demeaning, zero bedside manner and could not provide any alternatives to the medication I hada reaction to. Beyond me how he is part of UPMC, they need to up their standards.

Great Doctor!
I have seen a lot of Endocrinology Doctors and Dr. Galindo is one of the best. I was so thankful to find him! He listens, and he explains everything so well. Cannot say enough about him!

He needs to learn bedside manners
My husband and myself couldn’t afford the $900 copay for a medications. Dr Galindo told my husband “pay the money or die” rather than prescribing a different medication. Also- rather than doing his job and monitoring/treating the diabetes in his patients, he pushes the patients off on the diabetic RN. I’ll never recommend this doctor to anyone, I’m also surprised he still has a job at UPMC. Get on a waitlist for a different endocrinologist. There’s a reason this doctor doesn’t have that long of a wait.

I missed one follow up appt and Dr. Galindo called my pharmacy and deactivated my insulin. I was never told until I went to refill it. I had 22 refills left even though the office staff is saying I had 11. (I have the script on my pen). I am going to another endocrinologist and when they called to get my records they denied my labs and when asked about which insulin rx I take they said I was on insulin before I was seen by him, which is a LIE. He is the one that put me on it. What doctor refuses to allow a diabetic their insulin because they missed one appt? Stay far away from this so called doctor and his staff.

Dr. Galindo is an amazing physician! He treats his patients with respect, and takes the time to answer any questions or concerns you might have. Through his detailed questionnaire on my first visit and his initial exam, he was able to finally tie many of my symptoms together and provide an accurate diagnosis, which he fully explained and provided information on. Dr. Galindo has been my Endocrinologist for about 5 years and he still never rushes me through an appointment. I highly recommend him!

Very rude!! My husband has thyroid cancer and when I was asking questions about the plan and everything cause I did not understand he told me I'm not a dr!! Then he told me that I was being very difficult for asking too many questions and then told me to find another dr!! Never ever recommend him to anyone!
