Dr. Jose Franquiz Matos, MD

Called to make an appointment. The secretary transferred me to Dr. Franquiz Matos who seems to lack the basics on professionalism and tact. I stated that I looking to make an appointment and that I would be a new patient. Without missing a beat and in an extremely arrogant and annoyed tone he informed me that I should be well aware of the current situation with “Covid19” and that as a result he could not see anyone in person let alone a “new patient” since he or his staff did not have the time to sanitize and/or sterilize every single surface after every patient. He stated he was only conducting tele-medicine. After such a rude and disappointing phone conversation I let him know I was not ignorant to the current situation and that given his lack of manners and concern I was no longer interested in his services. Then I hung up.
