Dr. Jose Cervantes, MD

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Cervantes. From the moment I entered the room, it was clear that he lacked the essential qualities of a good doctor. His demeanor was rude and condescending, making me feel more like a nuisance than a patient. Throughout our consultation, he interrupted me repeatedly and showed little interest in my concerns. Instead of listening to my symptoms or questions, he spent most of the time bragging about his extensive experience and how he’s been practicing “good medicine” for years. This self-centered approach left me feeling invalidated and unheard. Moreover, his bedside manner was appalling. He became aggressive when I tried to express my worries, which only added to my anxiety. A doctor should provide comfort and reassurance, not hostility.It is disheartening to encounter a healthcare provider who seems to care more about their own ego than the well-being of their patients. I would not recommend Dr. Cervantes to anyone

My poor father is elderly and Dr. Cervantes doesn't listen to what he has to say. It's not until I get involved that he listens. It's really sad. Why not listen to what my father said? Why do I have to speak up. He's always short with my father and doesn't give him the care he deserves. Old people should be listened to not ignored.

This guy never listened. Just provided his opinion with little review of the medical records and no regard to patient input. When I stopped him and told him to stop talking at me and actually listen, he got all hurt and told me I could get another doctor, which I absolutely did. I thought being a Latino doctor who went to UCLA he would be awesome, but he ended being an obnoxious know it all.

Horrible bedside manner. Would not listen or have a conversation about my health.

Refused to perform any blood tests or a simple physical when asked. Just wanted my health checked since I had health issues in the past.
