I have never had anything but caring, professional and empathetic service from Dr. Zapata. I have an unfortunate bartholin cyst issue that is reoccurring, no matter what I do (and I have followed all his and advice and other doctor's advice). He treated me several times when the cysts became infected. This is excruciating when this happens, and he never made me wait or go to the ER. He told his nurse to schedule me right away and he'd make room to help me take care of it. He told me, "This is too painful. Do not let them make you wait. Tell them I want to see you right away, okay?" When the problem didn't go away, he helped me make the hard choice of removal and was the doctor who removed the gland. While infections can still happen when a gland is removed (in the open cavity), this is not his fault; it happens with much less frequency, no . His forthright, reassuring demeanor and his empathy for my pain makes me happy it was him who helped me when I had this traumatic issue.

He was the only one to ever take my pain seriously and scheduled me for a necessary procedure the first time I saw him.

This Doctor has saved my life and the life of my children more than once. He’s very calm and professional. 11 years ago he delivered my 2nd son. It was an all natural 11lbs. 07oz. Birth. I refused an episiotomy and was totally exhausted. Owen (baby) wasn’t coming out so well. Dr. Zapata helped him out without use of any tools, just his experienced hands gently turning and tugging. My baby was born healthy and happy. Then my 4th and 5th children were twins. He advised me although I’ve had 3 natural births, it’s a different gig with twins. He prepared me mentally for a cesarean months ahead, while remaining on the side of my personal wishes for a natural day if we could. Well, the day came and my huge twins didn’t cooperate. Baby A was breech and Baby B was transverse stuck up in my ribs. Together they weighed 15lbs. 1 oz. We did a C-Section. I almost passed out and could’ve died but he was right there guiding the others. I have negative blood. My #6 is a V-BAC delivered by Dr. Z. ????

He delivered my first born 37 years ago and I still choose him for post menopause.

He delivered my son but wasn't my doctor. I was in labor when I showed up to my doctor's appointment early in the am. My doctor Hebard informed me that it was time and to head over to Harrison in Silverdale to get ready for delivery. After being in labor for another 4 hours and finally ready to give birth. I was informed that my doctor had an emergency and Dr. Zapata was going to deliver my son. He came in when my son was crowning and was in the room for maybe a total of 10minutes. In this short time, he was very cold in emotion and seemed to be in a hurry. Now years later, I suffer from his incomplete surgical doing. He did not stitch me up correctly causing embarring disfigurement and causing problems with the functionality. I've come to the conclusion that this was due to the type of insurance I had in which he does not accept.

Not caring and sympathetic. Rude & Disrespectful about my past choice to use naturalpathic doctors. Was not willing to discuss the symptoms I felt may have caused my multiple miscarriages. Had an air of arrogance about him. Was warned about these things but desperate for medical help, i ignored warning. He also gave me information I know to be inaccurate. He also told me emphatically that my hormonal imbalance did not cause my miscarriages prior to any testing. Taking my business to Seattle
