Dr. Jonathon McGarry, MD

Jon McGarry is not someone that I would recommend. I was treated by her, as a part of my care team, with Hims. I was prescribed something that does not treat my concern. I was charged for a prescription that doesn't treat my concern and there was no work to resolve the concern. I was told to 'just try' it and if it doesn't work THEN I can get something else. This is not the experience I would want for anyone and it builds distrust in the healthcare industry as a whole. Please refrain from seeing Jon McGarry for your own use and I couldn't imagine it having been my wife or 3 daughters that were told to 'just try' something that wasn't designed to treat their concerns.

Went to ER on 2/22/21 for unbearable abdominal pain. I have multiple gastro issues for 15 years. I know what constipation feels like as I have IBS-C. I also know what bloody vomiting looks like, blood is red. I came in an ambulance with throwing up blood. Discharged from the ER without tests results and but with insulting discharge instructions. I begged that he keep me overnight as I was afraid that something bad could happen since he couldn’t figure out what was wrong to which he replied that there is nothing wrong with you and that he had no justification to admit me. I guess visibly vomiting blood which witnessed by him, is not good enough. I eat healthy, never hold anything in, drink as much water that I can hold down. After a bowel movement, symptoms getting worse worse by the hour. Today is 3/2/21 and still no relief. Avoid this make believe doctor!

I was charged $922 for an Emergency Evaluation and told to be urgently seen by a vascular specialist, because this so called doctor couldn't distinguish between a vein anomaly and some lint that was dried on ultrasound gel from an examination the day before. Shame on this ARROGANT DISMISSIVE CHARLATAN!
