I had back surgery, Dr Geisinger was my surgeon. I Went from not being able to get out of bed or go to the restroom to climbing a step ladder shortly after surgery . My only regret is I wish I would have done it sooner! If any of my family or friends would need a back surgeon I would defiantly only refer them to go to Dr. Geisinger! It has been a yr in December & I can do everything As normal! Dr. Geisinger & his staff were very professional, comforting & informative. Thank you for your services!

Dr. Geisinger did surgery on my lower back. He always explained everything great and would tell me pro’s and con’s. He was always very professional and friendly, had a great bedside manner. I had severe symptoms and I have had great relief from my surgery! Would highly recommend him !

I had an appointment with Dr. Geisinger in Marshall, MN. I was so grateful Dr. Geisinger would travel to Marshall, MN. My trip to OI in Sioux Falls is one and 1/2 hours one way. Dr. Geisinger is an excellent dr. I would refer everyone to Dr. Geisinger for his expertise and wonderful patient care.

Dr. Geisinger diagnosed and did surgery on my lower back, successfully placing a spacer, doing a laminectomy, and fusing L4-L5. It alleviated the pinched nerves & numbness that were becoming critical issues for me. He has a very caring bedside manner and spent time answering my questions as needed. His after care was also very thorough as I ended up with some lingering nerve damage to my right foot. He orchestrated further testing to identify the location of the nerve causing the problem and set me up with another in-house doctor to do a nerve release, hoping it would help. Unfortunately, it did not, but Dr. Geisinger tried everything possible to help me get the best outcome. He did not require that I wear a back brace for 3 months following my back surgery which, I believe, kept my back muscles from getting weak during that time. He keeps up with the latest research and is confident in his methods. I would recommend him highly.

I’ve been to see Dr Geisinger twice and I’m scheduled for disc surgery soon. He explained the procedure I am having done and answered all my questions. I’m nervous about the surgery, but am looking forward to not having anymore pain! When leaving the office visit this last time, I am confident in Dr Geisinger fixing my issue!

When I saw Dr. Geisinger for the first time I was instantly in ease. He is very knowledgeable, listens, and isn't rushed. He explained treatment options and testing very well. His staff is very responsive. I would highly recommend him and OI to anyone.

When I went to them over a year ago I was in severe pain. I called them and was able to get in the same day. I had a herniated disc pinching nerves down my left arm. The were able to do MRI the next day diagnosis the problem and start treatment. They tried everything to avoid surgery however, in the end that was what was needed to alleviate my pain. They worked around my busy schedule and I had a double fusion in my lower neck. They are the only ones that took immediate action to help me with the problem and fix it not trying months and months of rehab and no results. My only regret is I didn't go to them first. A year later I am fully recovered and back to doing everything I used to with very little restrictions. I will continue to use them for any future issues. They are top notch they will be with you and continue to monitor you long after the procedure is done. I have told many of my family and friends that are frustrated with traditional clinic and go straight to the specialist.

Great experience from me first walking in the door for surgery till 2 days later going home..from day one I got all info i needed for my surgery and questions were answered. Leading up to surgery his assistant was great ..called back promptly and explain how things would go with insurance. Faxing all proper paperwork to my employer for my leave.

Dr Geisinger is an excellent surgeon and compassionate caring Dr. He did surgery on my sister over a year ago and thoroughly explained everything throughout the whole process. She has a very unusual case and his knowledge is spot on. Our family would highly recommend him.

Through all of my appointments and my back surgery, Dr. Geisinger has been very thorough, compassionate and professional. What he told me pre-op and post-op were "spot on." I appreciated his truthfulness and thank him and his staff for my successful surgery and recovery.

Excellent first time visit. Medical staff were prompt and very helpful. Dr Geisinger explained everything including a plan moving forward. I will definitely recommend him.

After 6 months of trying physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and every topical pain reliever I could think of, I finally made an appointment with OI and got an appointment to see Dr. Geisinger. That was my lucky day. He listened, and told me he had a pretty good idea of what was wrong, ordered an MRI, and suggested a spinal epidural. He said he would try some less invasive procedures before surgery. When none of that worked, we finally settled on surgery to relieve the pressure on the nerve. I had a lot of questions which he answered patiently and thoroughly, and he calmly put my mind at ease. The morning of surgery we spoke in the pre-op room, and he calmed any anxiety I had. I have been pain free since that day, and can't thank Dr. Geisinger enough for his care and surgical talent. I am three months post surgery, and can't believe how wonderful it feels to be pain free. My only regret is that I waited so long to see him. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
