Dr. Jonathan Tye, MD

Dr. Tye is wonderful. His office Staff is BAD. When any RX is written, the pharma always has to call his office since the directions are never clear. My pharma when I called, they told me, that the RX was for only 30 day supply, pharma told me to call his office. Huge mistake. The bad Office girl, tells me I am not allowed to call them, only the pharma. I said, ok. She tried to do the old, we only do a 30 day on a new RX, I told her that was not true since the RX I got the month before was for the 90 day. She said it takes 24 hours for them to get back to pharma. I said I would check tomorrow, have them keep calling to correct to 90 days or I would not fill until it is corrected. She yells she is going to tell Dr. I said that. I say Good. Next day, it's correct. Get it filled. next time Rx is to due to be filled. They all have been removed. No RXs from Dr. Tye. Girl must have told him I would not fill Rxs but left off the part about the 30-90 day problem. Willing to lie and let you die

Dr. Tye is wonderful. His front office staff is the reason I won't be going back. The front office are willing to lie and they contacted my pharmacy and erased all my Rx's, that Dr. Tye wrote. Because I told the front office girl I would not fill the RX unless it was corrected from a 30 day supply to 90 day supply. Tried to tell me that is what they do for 1st RX, nope I had a new RX a month before, it was for 90 days. She yells, I'm going to tell the dr. you said that. Good, so the first RX was for 90 days, then when I logged onto my pharmacy to see when it would be refilled again. All my Rx's from Dr. Tye were erased! Pharmacy said they were removed. So now I know the front office girl told him I would not fill the RX but left off the part about the 30 day to 90 day. They are willing to harm Dr. Tye's patients and he is willing to harm you too by listening to their untruths. Just find another Cardiologist. So much trouble when getting any RX's from this office. And Rude front office

Dr. Tye is a very caring professional who listened to my concerns, reviewed my lab work, did an EKG and gave me a copy, and prescribed new blood pressure medication that is working wonders for me. His assistant was very nice and helpful. I reccomend them to all senior citizens who have been put off by other doctors.

Dr Tye is an excellent cardiologist. My husband just love him . He has the knowledge & expertise but his office staff sucks. They don’t have a clue of what customer service entails. This is most important in a doctor’s office. They are rude & obnoxious both face to face & on the phone. If they only listen and not brush off the call, things willbe done correctly, without the patient having to go back & forth to the office. Mind you this is a post stroke patient , going out , when this patient , my husband is supposed to stay home due to this pandemic . Dr. Tye , or office manager, pls impose strict customer service, after all , your staff are dealing with patients . I would give Dr Tye a 5 star for his expertise.

Dr. TYE did a procedure on me at Queen of the Valley Hospital 5/6/17..He literally gave me my life back! I am supposed to go for a follow up with him in two weeks. I called his office today, only to find out he doesn't accept my insurance. How is that possible? He treated me at the hospital. Red beurocrat tape...I finally find an excellent cardiologist and now I can't see him again. The healthcare system isn't working for me.
