Genuinely great care with one caveat.
Dr Schwartz has had an immensely positive impact on my mental health by working with me to effectively treat my issues of PTSD and anxiety. Dr Schwartz and the Nurse Practitioners in his practice are not only knowledgeable, they are kind and respectful professionals. It pains me to say that the excellent care I have received has been overshadowed by the contemptuous, rude and often confrontational behavior of the office employees. It is not hyperbole to say that I have never experienced such shockingly inexcusable behavior on the part of office professionals in my lifetime. This rude and contemptuous behavior is in direct contradiction to the compassionate and caring nature of Dr Schwartz and the other providers in his practice. If you can tolerate the behavior of the office employees you will receive genuinely compassionate and effective mental health treatment.

Dr. Schwartz seemed kind and capable at the outset, and I had high hopes that my depression and anxiety would be alleviated by TMS and with the help of Dr. Schwartz. However, my hopes were misplaced. TMS made me worse, especially in terms of anxiety. Dr. Schwartz let me down. He told me that because of my age, there was nothing more he could do beyond another round of TMS, which is useless and probably harmful. Troubled people hope for help, and when a psychiatrist takes on a troubled person, he should understand his Hippocratic oath--it's a commitment to help. I came out of my experience with this doctor emotionally worse instead of better. He did me damage. He should know that. I hope he reads this. He failed.
