Dr. Jonathan Horbal, DO

I found Dr. Jonathan from the immune deficiency website after looking online and seeing what some of my long standing symptoms were. No one was listing to me and I was just getting sicker and sicker. I was worried about going there as I was not sure this is what I had or not. I'm so glad I did, we talked and after doing labs.....I was right! All this time I just needed someone to hear me and now I feel much better. Thank you for listening to me!! Would STRONGY recommend him to anyone. Thank you thank you thank you!

Very disappointed in the medical care I received from this doctor. I was specifically concerned about food allergies. Went testing was over he has tested me for environmental. Told me I’d need to come back. Nice staff though.

He spoke way to fast. Could hardly understand him. He acted as if I was lying about my own reactions to things. Made me feel stupid.

Outdated, uncaring, and unlistening. If you want allergy shots this is not the doctor for you! I've never written a review for any medical person before but in this case, I feel I have to warn you. He seems to care nothing about what a patient wants and gives them just about zero input into their care. I went to him twice and felt unlistened to both times. He refused to give me allergy shots even though I was insistent on them and had tried meds for months and they didn't work that well. I also mentioned that I didn't want to be reliant on meds for the rest of my life but he didn't care. I've since found another allergist who is a lot more caring and he started me on shots the next week. I wrote a longer review on google.

I have never had a worse experience with a “professional” in my life! I have been to the office a few time and seen Dr Richard Horbal and had great experiences, today we saw the younger Dr Horbal and that was not the case! He was very short with me and said several times “I’m not saying you’re a bad mom” and “I’m not saying I need to call CPS”. My 6 month old was diagnosed with a dairy allergy a week ago and I brought her in because she had a new reaction, so apparently this makes me a bad mom? Awful experience and I will be requesting the other Dr in the future!

Doesn't seem to remember his patients or what medications he used to treat the same conditions in the past. This office of Doctors rush you through appointments and basically slap a bandaid on your problem. I have had the same reaccuring problem with my eyes swelling shut and body breaking out into hives that turn to welts for over 3 years now. Still the same bandaid! Going to U of M!!
