Disappointed
I broke my leg while I was on a short trip, and my surgery was done by a surgeon in the area hospital. Dr. Gross made it a point to tell me he wasn’t getting paid to treat me because he didn’t do the surgery. He was very dismissive and disrespectful to me and my aide. He said my medication was counteracting each other, but he didn’t make any changes to my meds. He insinuated that I was on drugs. It was quite obvious that he wasn’t going to treat me. He obviously is more concerned about the money than the patients. I will not be going back in 6 weeks for a follow up visit.

I was so lucky he was the doctor to do my surgery. My initial visit was friendly and he made me laugh even though I was in pain. I had either a siezure or a complete blackout and to with twisted, dislocated, broken right ankle. He made me so comfortable about the surgery. He understood mu autoimmune disease could hamper my recovery but he was confident and so was I. Every check up visit with Dr. Gross was always pleasant. He has a perfect office mannerism. Thank you Dr. Gross for fixing my brokeness and helping me walk again.

He put me back together
I was lucky enough to have him for a surgeon after a life threatening motorcycle accident. I broke most of the long bones in my body and shattered my pelvis. After emergency surgeries I continued seeing him at his office and he did my follow up surgeries and appointments. He is a kind man with a good sense of humor. I owe my life partially to this man. I would recommend him to anyone with orthopedic needs. His partners and staff are also top notch. Thank you for everything Dr. Gross

He has replaced one of my hips and both knees. His “bedside manner” was beyond great. He explained things and was careful to ease any anxieties I had with each procedure. I actually cried when he left Rochester, NY!!

Amazing Hip Replacement
I turned 65, July 2021, and started having problems walking, which became progressively worse. Physical Therapy was ok, but my range of motion was still terrible, and having a cortisone shot only worked for a week. So I had total hip replacement surgery, March 10th. God goes before me, in all I do and I thank him for being with the hands of my Surgeon, Dr. Gross and his Surgical Team. I asked God for guidance and he lead me to my surgeon, Dr. Jonathan Gross. Dr. Gross spent a lot of time explaining the procedure to my husband and I, and answered all our question's. We both felt so confident with him, and his knowledge that I decided not to pursue another doctor, knowing in my heart, that I was being guided by my Heavenly Father. Thank you God for this discernment. Also after the first visit I did more research, and had a bunch of additional questions. Dr. Gross invited me back to his office answered my questions and allayed my fears. He‘s excellent & caring. I’m very grateful! Diane

Dismissed my mother's complaint about radiating pain in her leg. Said she has pain because she is old. Turned out she got a blood clot, which then moved to her lung. Now she is in ICU in the hospital.

This was my first visit with Dr, Gross. His bedside manner is phenomenal. I felt like I been his patient for years. He calmed any fears I might have had and explained my procedure and any outcomes that could come up. I put my full confidence in his caring and able hands and would recommend him to anyone needing an Orthopedic Surgeon.
