Incredibly caring and brilliant doctor
My father is end stage, and undergoing various newer treatments as well as study drugs etc. My father, mother, and I met with Dr. Goldman about pursuing one of his studies. Not only did we NOT feel like Dr. Goldman pressured us into his study, he directed us towards a treatment program with my dad's own oncologist that sounded like a better fit. I still e-mail him with questions regarding his expertise and he is happy to help. This is a person who loves medicine and taking care of others. I wish we lived close enough to adopt Dr. Goldman as our regular oncologist.

Amazing doctor
As a Cardiothoracic surgeon, I have spent my career interacting with Thoracic oncologists. I can say with absolute conviction that Jonathan is one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with and one of the truly kindest human beings I have met. I recommend him with no reservations whatsoever for you or your family member

Dr. Goldman was inconsiderate, rude, lacking in empathy and compassion, more interested in insurance guidelines than patient well-being, and was more interested in pumping up his ego by denying the patient of rightful and appropriate treatment than to consider what is right and best practice for the patient. There was no oversight or accountability to his treatment of his patients and staff, especially during COVID-19 and related social restrictions that interfered with family members and others from being with the patients and observing his ill treatment of people.

Very humble man and very knowledgeable. He always explains his thoughts on the matter. We never feel rushed. He gives his wholeheartedly and undivided attention. I couldn't be happier. He felt that immunotherapy would be our best option. Although he said he was hopeful... He also stated a truth "There are no Guarantees" and we all know the only guarantees in life are that "Nothing Remains the Same, Everything must change and at some point "We Will Die". So much RESPECT for Dr. Goldman.

Anyone with cancer is going to fell a sense of hopelessness and depression. Mine was no different, im from Las Vegas where I feel the medical treatment especially for something serious like cancer is second rate, DR Goldman took time to listen to my concerns, he told me the straight facts, called me when he promised to call me, replied to me promptly & professionally when I had questions, gave me accurate and useful information and a treatment plan. I would reccomend Dr Jonathan Goldman at UCLA.

Dr Goldman's preoccupation with being Astra Zenica's Golden Boy precludes his ability to form a therapeutic alliance with patients. If you are in his clinical study you are a "subject" to be less kind you are a lab rat. I nearly died while under his care.
