Found my physician
He is caring, friendly and very professional. I came to Patient first because of Upper Respiratory Infection and Acute Bronchospasm. He is the best. I finally found a physician I really like.

I fell four feet to the ground off a deck face down.I am 73 years old and feared the worst...broken bones etc. Dr Fagel’s manner calmed me immeasurably. He was thorough in his exam and spoke with reassurance and knowledge. He ordered xrays and after returned to tell me nothing was broken. His manner and demonstration of knowledge left me feeling well cared for. I wish he had a general practice.

I've seen Dr. Fagel a couple of times for different issues as he tends to be at the Silver Spring Patient First whenever I end up having a terrible day. The most memorable experience was when I cut my thumb on a Ninja Blender Blade (No I did not stick my hand in a blender) and he gave me stitches. I was the last patient of the evening, I walked in 10 minutes before closing and was treated right away. He communicated very well and did a great job with the stitches. Thumb is now 100%.

Dr. Fagel was the physician on staff when I visited Patient First urgent care center in Silver Spring, MD. Despite evidence of bacterial growth in my urine, he opted to guide the PA taking care of me to leave me UNTREATED for the bacterial infection and treat ONLY a symptom of my acute cystitis (with phenazopyridine) until a kidney function test could be could be done--the result of which could take up to FIVE days to receive. I am a kidney-impaired patient!!! That's unacceptable.
